Bit of a bummer after over 6 years of watching all the content from SBG and Harley designs that you guys have moved to a member's group. I can recall many videos where you both remarked you would never do that. I've learned a lot of things from watching these videos and it's just a shame that I'll miss out on content if I don't pay for it, but I'll continue to enjoy the content and sticker pack and I do thank you.
The CUCV is looking so good! 😍 when I made my inner fenders for the BRX02 I printed the first prototype in clear pla! Helped a lot to see where the issues are and where there’s need for any holes! 😊
Haha that was entertaining! I'm glad you like my clipless setup for the H10! It is an over-center mechanism, which basically means you move the part past the point where it can open itself. So as the battery tries to push out it actually twists the latch tighter shut!
That's defenitly an improvement! Personally I can't understand how Vanquish came up with such a lame setup for securing those battery covers. No one's perfect right? But your simple mechanism really shows them how it's done. 😛
That twisted Fab Co kit is badass Matt. Your custom wrap turned out great. I'm definitely glad that you got me to join your only fans page. If you get some time can we please see your RC Go kart video please 🙏. Thanks Matt and God bless.
Can’t wait to see what you do with the twisted fab co kit, kasey makes amazing parts and funny enough I actually did all the welding for him on your kit 🤙🏻 just finished up mine with a spring under set up.
That interior is pretty dope. What would be amusing is if: You ordered an extra right arm piece of the driver; cut the right arm off the passenger; drilled through the passenger shoulder to make a linkage to that servo; then connected the driver right arm to the passenger right shoulder in a raised position so that the passenger appears to be waving to the adoring SBG/HD crowd as the buggy drives past. Just a thought. That leaf spring kit for the VS410 is going to make Josh groan, which is perfection.
I might have to consider trying out a wrap. Seems like it might help hide layer lines on 3d printed bodies at least a little bit and could save on some sanding
Could you do a video about aftermarket providers? You always are getting cool stuff from places I've never heard of. I consider myself a pretty good googler (that's what she said) but a cool collected list of some (obviously not all) would be some interesting subject matter and great advertising for them
The only thing I wish they could make is a steering wheel that moves more than 70 degrees or what ever they have. Gearing between the servo and wheel would be a good way of doing it.
The real question is whether or not a crawler is going to make it to the cottage with you. The interior details are looking amazing. You can definitely tell it's the both of you. Yes, those inner fenders are another one of those things that RC4WD does that could be done better with the slightest bit more effort.
Prefer airbrushing by far! Lol Building a rig right now tube frame and need to make panels with metal not plastic inside panels mind you. Airbrush some ghost skulls going to be sweet!✌🏼🇺🇸
Awesome episode. Optic looks awesome. I think I may try that interior. Very cool Cucv coming along nice. I have the perfect truck for that leaf spring kit. May have to talk with him. By that.... I mean... buy it haha
Not going this year to PBTF, went the last 2 years, but I'm outta Cali soon, so most likely missing Axialfest as well, bet Josh's is is signing in great disbelief about leafs on a VS410, can't wait to see his face once it's built
How small of a print bed do you think you could get away with for resin printing that interior? Im hoping to fit it on my Photon S, but its only a 3x5 print plate...
Hey Matt who are you going to get to drive your CUCV? Have you seen Neca’s jaws figures such as Hooper or Chief Brody? They are about the same size as your Stan Lee figure
Throw the body clip out and flip the pin upside down, putting it in thru the top. Why doesn’t anyone else do this with the h10? It looks clean and still functions the same. I know some excess will hang out of the bottom and if that’s bad for your terrain then grind it down some.
@@scalebuildersguild or you be sure and come by our camp spot as well! We are from Az(sorry, not scottsdale) lol….. W.A.C.K. Western Arizona Crawler Krew!!!!!!
Sorry, didn't mean to sound harsh. You just don't see the seat in the back window of any square body Chevy. This version may be different. I've never seen one in person.
Someone looking good with that haircut... also, someone puts product in while his hair is still damp. What's "at the cottage " code for? Is that what the kids are saying these days?
The lexan fender wells should be a pass. You just installed some fender wells, so what if they happened to be made of lexan. Whats next, stickers on a lexan body counts too?🤣🤣🤣

Not to worry, the main content will never change.
I have had a capra with purple metallic vinyl wrap. Loved it! The cool thing is if you scratch a panel up it's an easy repair! No need to repaint!
Awesome!
Seeing all the way through your fender well from the cab, is normal in Texas🤘🤠🤘

Wow! That wrapped Optic looks really amazing!!! Awesome job Matt! Looking forward to see those two half guys painted and installed. Cheers!
Thank you! Stay tuned!
That poor Porsche really needs it's front axle back!
Great video thanks. Optic looks awesome.
Hahaha! That's been catching my eye for a while too. Poor thing is hanged in there with its dangling guts... 😅
It does!
Love that CUCV! I hope it makes a trip to smiggins when it’s done.
Ah! Unfortunately, Rick and I will be meeting 1/2 way between Ohio and Ontario this year, so no trip to Smiggins this summer.
Can’t wait to see what you do with the twisted fab co kit, kasey makes amazing parts and funny enough I actually did all the welding for him on your kit 🤙🏻 just finished up mine with a spring under set up.
I do love the CUCV so much, My idea of a perfect build. I'd be so proud to build one half a good

That interior with 3 servos is next level
So keen for a leaf vs410! Especially with twisted fab co parts 😍

I thought the same, just that the arm should slap Josh every time you accelerate. I don’t know why I woke up today and chose violence.

Sounds like a hilarious idea, thank you! 👏

Go for it!
Very very cool this week!! Interested in the artful dodgers chassis and the pile of parts to come!!

I’ll try to come up with that, great idea!
Best 👌 bit of my week 😊
Thank you!
Great episode. I absolutely love the optic interior. Knights Customs does such good work. CUCV is looking remarkable as ever!
Thank you!
Awesome!
You did a great job. The blue inside would drive me nuts.
Flat black over the battery boxes and panels? 🤷♂️
The only thing I wish they could make is a steering wheel that moves more than 70 degrees or what ever they have. Gearing between the servo and wheel would be a good way of doing it.

I like that CUCV. If it ever becomes for sale give me a chance before Teleguided! 😬
I can hear Josh telling you that you can't park there! LOL

That big hole in the fender is actually very appropriate for a Chevy of that age 😂
What batteries are you using in the H10? Thanks
Using the recommended one from Gens Ace Adventure Series. Info on the website and box!
@@scalebuildersguild Thanks so much…I have mine on order. Wasn’t sure if there were other batteries you were using.

I like the livery. "Smoke 'em if you've got 'em" as they say.
But don't. 😉
Anyone tried wrapping a Lexan body? Heat too wrap too much?
Should be doable, the wrap is much thinner and lean can take some heat, just be careful to not use too much!
Are the interior files available yet? Don't see them
Looks like he’s working out some final kinks. Shouldn’t be long now!
VS4-10 leaf sprung would be perfect for PLBTF, Josh will hate it
Im waiting on Fine Laser Designs to get an Arrma Big Rock 3s, so I can get the clipless body mounts
Very cool!
How good does the Optic look with Tanks on? Got red ones on mine.
Looks so good!
Have you tried hydro dipping yet? I have some hydro dipped in carbon look splitters etc for my new golf r (real car😂)and they look amazing!
Nice! Hydro dipping is not something I’ve tried, but the results are certainly pretty awesome!

Please do a series on painting the Knights Custom interior.
Which one, he’s got dozens!

@@1734Glock but I did that one already, on this series!
Going to PBF for the first time.

@scalebuildersguild for sure will. Bring your 1/18 Suga. Our club, The Micro Crawler Club is doing the mini scale trail.
Hey Matt who are you going to get to drive your CUCV?
Have you seen Neca’s jaws figures such as Hooper or Chief Brody?
They are about the same size as your Stan Lee figure
They’re good looking drivers, if Stan isn’t up to the task, I’ll grab one of them! Thanks for the suggestion!
scan the fender walls and edit it, make a mold, ask Josh if he can make lexan fenders for you to save weight
Nah, I’m not worried about weight on the CUCV, heavy chevy is better with leafs!
Not finding the H10 Knights Custom interior on his website. Any updates.
Probably tweaking the file a bit still!
The Porsche looks so sad up there with no front axle
Josh’s head needs to turn to you when you’re not on throttle 😂 “you can’t park there” moment
😂
From the Rocky mountain series on I always look at your hub screws.... Waffle House had the 1 golden "nugget" to the optic with 3 and 3.... Love it!
Thank you!

Still not as quick or efficient as the Fine Laser Designs way!
I will be going to PLbtF. Hope to meet ya. Have you heard of any more details from Pro Line? Everything on the page is tentative….

He’s still working out some bugs, very soon!
As a member, will I have access to ALL the videos filmed at the cottage?😂
Only one video was made, and it nearly resulted in the sinking of a boat...

C'mon buddy, the back of the seat in the CUCV just can't stand up in the back window. Please, to me it screws up that really cool build.
Sorry I don't have a CUCV in my backyard to reference. ;)
3D printed parts? No way! What’s next, some kind of sticky material you can cover your car with instead of paint????
