Really good, nice & simple. The concept reminded me of how we evolved a taste for sweet food because energy used to be hard to come by. But we can't just let that urge rule us now, because the world has changed and a sweet tooth can end up killing us. Very different issue, but same solution, use our intelligence to evaluate our impulses.
This is very good. But I'd like people realize that the idea works without any reference to the distance past. We use these cognitive methods every day, we couldn't make any sense of the world if we didn't. But I'm not advocating it as an excuse for racism or the like. Ideas that might harm or disadvantage other humans or other life forms will be challenged, and must be met with honesty.
