Hahah yep that’s always been him though hasn’t it 😂 sailing has def brought out another side though. He stresses in other situations like anchoring too close to boats and rocks etc haha
We actually only had one reef in that day however it wasn’t consistent 40 knots it only reached that for a second. we’ve really noticed around Greece with the mountainous landscapes that as soon as we get close to another island, the wind really rushes off Tyra land onto us but soon settles
It was so full on 😳 such a close call, by the time we got out of its way it was a matter of 1/2 metres away we chat about it first up in the next episode 🙌🏼
Dry bags with phones valuables & a ship shore handheld in 👍👍 couple of life jackets too you never know..

Unless you have 4 reefs in your main! You have a good chance of ripping your mainsail in half in 40kts! Time to drop the sails.
