When you recruit a Football player for your team you really do not know how he will turn out. I think the Coaches for the FSU are of the best in College Football. Where FSU is coming up short is the players. This year looks like it will be a rough year s. FSU needs to keep plugging away and really build for next year.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Atkins has to be the first to go. The entire offensive staff has to go. Shannon’s gotta go for sure. Everyone likes Odell, but is he doing a good enough job recruiting? I don’t know!
I agree with you 100% about keeping Surtan and the special teams coach. I like Fuller better than most people, so take that for what it’s worth. If you fire him you better have an ace in the hole to replace him. FSU has to get top recruiters and coaches that have a proven track record. My fear is FSU simply can’t compete financially with the top 15-20 schools. Currently we would be lucky to break into the top 25 schools financially. That’s certainly not a recipe for success.
You read my mind about your last point. Where does FSU stand with finances? If they cannot pay offensive and defensive coordinators 2M per year, there could be issues.
If FSU can afford 500 million for stadium remodeling they can afford 70 million buyout.

You are correct. That's FSU's biggest hurdle and it's one I discussed.
Adam fuller need to go also he’s not creative at all defense guys always out of position we have been able to play zone since he got here. It might be time for Odell also to me he just a lazy recruiter he just take any d linemen that wanna play for fsu go get some dawgs

Maybe you can tell me the answer to this but will FSU be able to hire a staff and have them in place before national signing day and before the transfer portal opens up? Or will Mike have to wait till after signing day and the portal has already opened up to hire coaches so they would obviously be at a huge disadvantage in that sense?
Dec. 4 is NSD. It's horrible timing and recruits know it. The Portal is different because it's Dec. 9 but here's the issue: background checks. They take forever. FSU is in a tough spot!
The first thing FSU must do is Mike Alford must hire a professional GM. Someone over the head coach and in charge of all financial aspects pertaining to FSU football. A GM that uses sabermetrics and analytics to build list of coaches and players therefore limiting the hiring and recruiting errors. FSU must get away from the head coach roller-coaster of giving one man toatal control then firing him when the guy goes bust
Thus leaving FSU stuck picking up the pieces and starting from scratch. FSU must use the process established by Nick Saban created 20 years age at Alabama. Its the system used by the top tier teams and by every NFL team. Its time FSU got their shit together and start working smarter.
FSU has a GM I believe.

This staff was never top flight recruiters are developing recruits OL coach LB coach WR coach QB coach DE coach DT coach and D coordinator plus hire a new off coordinator that's can develop QBs
My fear is FSU will be cheap and not want to fire coaches, which means paying their contracts while also hiring new coaches. Much will be known about FSU football's future before the end of bowl season.
Nothing can be done until next season or can it start now.
