True summers have bright eyes too because they tend to be lighter eyes with grey hue - the grey makes them often bright. Emily Didonato is typical true summer and she has brighter eyes than Megan Fox's blue eyes. What matters isn't the chroma of one feature, but of the features *TOGETHER* and their chroma together is softer and lighter. Winter's features are "crisp" against eachother. And look bright because their contrast is high between them. Her colouring is more harmonious and "together". That is definitely not bright winter, but true summer.
@@LilyBonaparte She is light just right for a true summer. She isn't light enough for a *light* summer. True summers typically have darker brown hair and look better in brown hair than light/soft summers (which look better in blonde). Good way to indicate the difference if you're summer or winter would be whether you look better in black or grays.
I was just color analysed as a True Summer when I was absolutely sure I was a winter. I will do my makeup with your look as inspo today to kick things off :) You seem really lovely!
Yeah, people seem to be confusing summer with winter and vice versa more than spring/autumn from what I've seen. Don't know why, it's easy to test simply by using black vs greys.
Now I am just convinced you are my sister on the other side of the Atlantic in both body type and color palette🤭You look beautiful in these colours, I think they suit you really well! I don't know how to differentiate between true summer and spring(s), but I realised how to easily tell apart summers and winters: no matter how hard you try, summers cannot pull off that cliche "red lip look", it is really too much for our complexion. Dark and saturated tones is an overload. When I first found this out, I was really frustrated that I couldn't really wear it, because intense makeup (smoky eyes, harsh contouring or dark lips) looks "foreign" on me. But since I don't have any makeup skills whatsoever, getting by with only 4-5 products and pulling it off successfully brought me a massive feeling of relief😂
oh wow thats really interesting! I might do a video trying on reds and darks just to get a better idea of the summer color palette. Thanks for sharing!
I see warmth too. Even you hair has warmth rather than the ashy brown of summer. Not sure the grey is your best colour :) Have you tried the gold/silver test?
I think you are light summer.. it seems to me that you have some warmness, which is characteristic of light summer because this palette can borrow some spring colors!
Your natural hair color is amazing
I am also a speculated true summer and i love mac's totally synced blush! it's a lilac pink color, so lovely.
so pretty i love this palette on you! I’m a true summer and have been wanting to find a good summer eyeshadow palette, thank you for posting this!
i think those colors look awesome on you!
I think you are a bright winter, your eyes are really bright you can clearly see the color and that color is on the bright winter eyes too
Oooh that’s a good call! Will have to experiment, thanks for watching!
Agree, she doesn’t seem overall light enough to be summer

Light summers have light hair
In this case it would be a soft Summer characteristic, as they are darker and lean on the autumn tones🎀
Also what color was the foundations that you mixed??
what lipstick is that???
I think you are a brighter season sorry, not a summer at all
