That's so absolutely crazy to just think about how all five contestants were within 1-2 seconds! Congrats on making it to Beast Island, hope you make it to top 10 at least.
It's nearly impossible. Another contestant said on reddit (obviously a huge grain of salt here) that there was confusion about how the timer worked, particularly in the hands of the editors who did the graphics and the VO, and that in fact it was 15 seconds, not 150ms, and the spread was much wider between the drops than what was said on the show. Which makes a ton more sense. It would also be an incredibly epic shot to see 6 people drop the ball at exactly the same time right before the 10 minutes were up, but the show didn't use it because that's not how it played out. It's just one of many weird decisions and mistakes I've noticed in the edits on this show. The editors knew that much more time elapsed between the final drops up to the cutoff, but chose to keep the false VO in there anyway. Doesn't really affect the outcome but they're being dishonest with viewers and even contestants. The class action should be interesting. This is not to take away from the fact that Ava/559 managed to silently count 10 minutes with a +/- 15 second accuracy. That is hard. If a shot comes along with all the balls dropping in the same second then the accuracy of that many people in a group is truly incredible and worthy of study.
@@FunkyKong Yea, I was thinking the exact same thing as you. Like I know Im a pretty good counter from experience, and I timed myself counting, and I can get pretty close like anywhere from 2-4 seconds off, but it would be impossible to be off by less than a second especially if its to like 10 minutes from zero. But I agree with you prob +/- 10 secs. not milliseconds.
@@FunkyKong ohh, and also knowing mrbeast from watching all his videos, he does like to exaggerate his videos to make it more mind-blowing and intense than more facts.
That was one of the most impressive challenge victories I’ve ever seen. Or luckiest. I couldn’t believe several players dropped it with under a second remaining. And you didn’t have to rely on someone picking you, you earned it yourself. Seems like most of the people who went on helicopters got picked because their friend won and took them.
Wow. What an incredible combination of focus and intuitive timing to be so close to the 10 minutes. Amazing to watch. And good to know that Daphne wasn’t causing the only distraction. Obviously she did not think that “strategy” through. Trying to throw people off after she dropped her ball did nothing to help her chances against anyone still holding their ball. It only made her seem like a self-centred sore loser. And people obviously resented it even more when Jeremy weirdly chose her to go to the island with his group. I can’t imagine it going well for her in any future challenges that involve trust. Rooting for you to go far in the competition.
I’m a math/statistics nerd and so many people dropping it in the last second is so insanely improbable I just can’t believe it’s true. You’re still incredibly lucky regardless of the exact time but that would be Dream levels of luck Edit: I also find it crazy that (if the times were somehow told correctly) they didn’t emphasize how insanely close and lucky everyone was; they straight up acted like this wasn’t some statistical anomaly
I've given up trying to explain the math to people. It is impossible. I commented a little higher up already, but there was a comment on r/BeastGames by another contestant who said the timer was misleading and was actually hours:mins:seconds, not mins:seconds:ms. The edit and VO just messed it up really bad, despite the fact that they knew full-well it didn't happen. Editors would have had wet dreams about a shot with 6 players dropping within the final 1 second and would have spent hours treating that shot with graphics in the replay. Not a chance.
What is the name of the track that was used to end the video? I've heard that beat in numerous videos and the name of it is never given. I would appreciate it and good luck.
You know Jimmy has subjected himself to this situation many times. Both isolating himself in a room with no clock and counting or repeating things mindlessly over/over. He has also been buried in a casket for 7 days(exactly 168 hrs). Hmm....
Surely the timer was wrong, it’s so improbably rare that 6 people dropped the ball within .3 seconds. It’s much more likely that they dropped it within 30 seconds and jimmy said the time wrong. Wouldn’t it be a crazy cool shot of 6 (or more) people all dropping it relatively at the same time right before the timer reaches 0? So why didn’t they show it?
@@MrJay28 you have to remember that there are over 100 people participating in the game, so one camera can’t really capture everyone at once unless it was super far away. And with so many people trying to count to 10 minutes, whether they count too fast or too slow, some are bound to get lucky enough to drop it so close to the time (even if they didn’t reach 10 mins in their head like me)
@@avarreddingyou can see when 907 and 672 drop the ball, and it’s not less than a second before the timer reaches 0. Although it could just be cuts in the editing. Do you think there’s a chance that the clock was in seconds instead of centiseconds, or are you 100% everyone dropped it within .3 seconds. I dont mean any hate I’m just tryna figure it out
@@avarredding the cameras are all sync'd to time code, and they definitely had multiple wide shots. It is trivial in this case to show a composite shot of what would be one of the most statistically improbable things to ever happen on a game show. I hope you join the class if you haven't already
What are your thoughts regarding some people saying it's improbable people were that accurate and instead it's because MrBeast misread seconds as milliseconds so you actually dropped it 15 seconds before the timer ended? Great achievement nonetheless, you seem like one of the contestants that would actually deserve the 5 million
I def def agree 100 percent. the chances of this happening is so rare, let alone how ALL five contestants dropped it within 1-2 seconds. There had to have been some error. Probably all within 10 seconds but not 1 second.

Less than a Second

The framed jersey for me 😄 and stitch 😍
