Visited Volgograd. Walked around the area in Volgograd called Zhilgorodok. This area is located on the outskirts of Volgograd. This area was considered one of the most criminal and depressive in the mid-2000s. Now I cannot say how the local residents are doing. But in Volgograd itself, many local residents feel rather depressed due to low salaries and a lack of jobs (at least they say so). Walking around Volgograd in such places is rather difficult in such weather because there are some problems with the roads for pedestrians. Nevertheless, there are shops and cafes everywhere. I even found a McDonald's that didn't exist before. It is quite possible to walk around these places during the day, but I would not go out once again at night (perhaps now everything has changed).
