i thoroughly enjoy your free form and "Non-Conformist Style". i totally agree that Bonsai **IS An Art form**. For now, i must keep with my "Purest Mentor's" teachings. Eventually i will be free to express myself in my own flavor. I will still indulge in "YOUR" teachings to broaden my horizons! Keep the videos coming!
Well said! That is how I started too. I learned from the traditional masters, John Naka and Harry Hirao. Then, I began to find my own bonsai shortcuts and methods through trial and error! Once we learn the fundamental basics of bonsai, we can expand and really be creative.
What a great example of turning a garden (or nursery) tree/shrub into a future bonsai. And advising it won’t be an over night bonsai. Rather it will take a few years to pick and design it to look better. Love this tree. Looking forward to seeing its progress. Really liking and learning from your videos.
Thank you for teaching us how to begin bonsai and encouraging us to have the courage to try what we find to be beautiful to our eyes. You are very good at this and your trees are beautiful.
Your trees are beautiful! I am a beginner and I live in Louisiana. Thank you for all the pointers , having loved them all.my life but afraid to touch them in fear of cutting it wrong. Im gaining confidence watching your videos thanks again
Yes, don't be afraid! I killed a lot of trees when I first started doing bonsai. It's all about learning through trial and error! I am here if you ever have any questions.
Great demonstration, bonsai requires a great deal of experience, great visual knowledge of the essences in their centuries-old version and great creativity
Beautiful ❤, im learning a lot from your videos. Im 42 and haven't yet started .Hopefully, it is not to late to get into the hobbie . I would love to pass on a few to my children someday ❤
Could you explain we’re I could find this “moss powder” you refer to. Ans does it actually grow moss like conventional kind of moss ? Enjoying your series, thank you. P.S. I live in Thailand
I believe bonsai has always been about being open minded in the design of the trees... just a shame it's taken me so long to actually get a start in this part of the art

Yes, it takes time and patience to craft a tree into a bonsai, but it is worth it! We can already see the potential in this tree.

Super swadisht testy recipes ❤
I’m curious why after trimming a branch you peel some of the bark back? I’ve seen you do it in a few other videos. Thanks!
I'm creating jins, which is deadwood. It is to create some contrast in the bark and provide more interest and dimension.
Milton everytime i hand a juniper with bare hands it gets itchy how do you handle it wothout any gloves

You can pick up moss you find on the side of the road or on buildings, blend it up, put it on your bonsai, and that's how you grow more moss!
Just do it! Like Nike 😂❤
