Thanks Anna ! Well, the judging is very subjective from one competition to another. Also, the credits are not taken into account. Still, I got a constructive feedback on it and I got a submission that did well for once. I highly doubt it will ever happen again, though. Regards ✌️
Congratulations to you too for making it to the semi-finals! You definitely deserved it! I listened to your composition again today and it's beautiful, I also really like the sung part in the credits 🤩
Love it! I really liked the parts where he finds the different restaurants and the idea of the leitmotiv of the 2 characters. I'm really enjoying the different versions by different composers. Good luck!
It's mostly because of the narrative and the creative freedom allowed by the IFMC that I scored it this way. When it comes to Love Is A Gift, I'm not sure I managed to provide the same kind of result as here. Besides, I'm a guy who still has a problem with the "lack of loudness in mastering", hehe. Don't look down on yourself. Your score has its own merits and you have talent. The way you're using your orchestral tools, chromatic key changes and hitpoints with the tale's events are proof of that. Kind regards.
Hehe, true enough. It's unkown if Snudge is aware of that. He thought hat while Marvin might be strong enough survive his traps, it could still slow him down. As long as Snudge could get his pizza for free, that's all that mattered to him... Until he admitted defeat and was surprised by Marvin's act of generosity in the end.
Congratulations for your third place !! You deserve the first ! The song for the credits is very original and fun !
Thanks Anna !

Such a good showcase of all the styles you can do! I'm rly jealous of how you use the harpsichord. It works so well here. You smashed it 🔥

He realizes that, if the delivery guy is dead, he gets no pizza, right?
