Informative video Britt. I think you answered all the questions very well straight from the heart. Love the braided hair Felicia did a great job indeed!
I really enjoy your videos on Grenada 🇬🇩. I grew up in St. Andrew and went to SAASS before moving to the US. The place has changed tremendously from when I was last there. Thank you for the tour and keeping coming. Have you tried sea eggs and lambie as yet? Hey are awesome sea foods. Study 📚 hard. Stay safe. Enjoy the country and graduate 👩🏽🎓. Dr.....

Since you’ve been in the same apartment building the whole time you’ve been there do you bring big items back with you or do you still pay rent over the summer to keep the same apartment with your stuff?
I pay rent over summer. most students do! Most people just leave their items back at their apartment. My landlord for example has me pay June but not July. Others do half months rent the months you're away. Others are the same year round. It just depends on your lease :)
Shipping food isn't that expensive, any electrical devices would cost you some cash. Compass Shipping in Grenada is the best way to bring your barrels in!
It can be pretty pricey. I've sent it via Amerijet and another private company here in Atlanta. The issue is from the states, we have to use a company here in America and we don't choose where it comes in..
@@BrittneyKilgore Compass shipping would be your best option but I think they are mostly operating from Grenada and Brooklyn, New York. But here in Grenada it is the most hassle free option!
@@davidburris01 Got it. That's the issue though; only a handful of students come from the NY area. Amerijet is like the easiest generally speaking. I did use a private company out of Atlanta and it was MUCH easier so I can imagine using this company over Amerijet.
Do you mind telling me the process for an animal how do I submit record that I’m bringing an animal do I only have to show them a vaccination record and that’s enough for me to be off campus
Is it safe to bring the students back in August, with covid still spiking in other parts of the world? I strongly believe they should let them continue they studies online for the rest of 2021 and then work on bringing them back in January 2022. Just saying.
I personally think it should be OPTIONAL. but its a bad look on the school when so many vet/med schools are back in person or at least having in person labs and stuff. So im not sure how they're going to do this. We haven't gotten an announcement yet
Campus is lgbt friendly as much as most other US school campuses. SGU encourages gender inclusion and sexuality tolerance. The island isn't "open" to it, but me and my gf went on many dates and never had issues. Some people guessed, but it wasn't too bad. I've seen feminine men and masculine women that attend sgu and i don't think they ever feel threatened
My daughter is attending SGU in the fall.. didn’t realize she could fly from JFK!! Thanks so much!!
Congrats to her! I hope she enjoys :)
I'm starting in August, I hope I will be able to come to campus

Sincerely, aspiring vet student 😁
So excited to start at SGU in August 😍😍

Bless your heart you are a gem just like Grenada.
I live here but I like watching your videos to get a foreign perspective on the island. Good stuff 🙌
Here because i love hearing you talk. Lol
Omg really lol thanks :) I think my voice is so high pitched
Did you sign up for the student health insurance? It's hard to figure out if the insurance from the states meets their Mandatory Health Insurance Rule
I didn't. Mine covered me internationally. It would be something to call your health insurance and ask if Grenada is a covered country
