Krile seems unlikely for many reasons, including her current role is conj so she's a healer, and her backstory is she adept healer and focuses on healing arts. So changing her to dps seems out of place. True Y'shtola changed from conj to blm, but healing wasn't important to her backstory and character like Krile. Also she'd get a job only if they planned to add her to trusts, and that need a new tank not more magic dps. We got 2 magic dps 2 healers 2 physical dps. But only 1 tank. Then there's the fact 5.3 has Alisaie and Alph talking about get new cloths and new jobs soon, and alph got it in 6.0 so it's Alisaie's turn.

It's obviously a corsair. We can have glance of his jacket and the open white shirt under the robe, and the posing at the end with the hand laying on the hilt is so iconic of a good ol' pirate ^^ And Urianger chilling with a pineapple cocktail is such a mood x)

Since the WoL has sword here, it's most likely the melee one (i see a lot of comments hoping for a sword/gun combo, like a reverse red mage focusing more on melee and sometime doing range attacks). Now ppl speculate on what will be the magic dps (the only clue is Yoshi-P's ninja turtles t-shirt).
@@Dajova I think the corsair is pretty much set in stone at this point. So many things are screaming "pirate" in this trailer (even Thancred with the good ol' pirate map with the big red X on it xD). For the magic dps, I would lean more towards the beastmaster, but i don't have any element to back that up. One of the areas they showcased after is in the mountains with a tibetan-style village, so maybe the beastmaster being a sort of shepherd in this environment… Maybe, idrk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The WoL looks very Assassin's Creed Blackflag to me, so after little searching all the different "pirate" jobs in FF I was able to find something extremely close in appearance. It heavily looks like Vaan's Sky Pirate outfit in Tactics Advance 2. Though Corsair wouldn't be too far off, I feel this would be closer to Rogue-like > the FF Gambler. Might even have a new name entirely but then again could have as much similarity as SCH does to its previous FF iterations and could give the Corsair name. IF TMNT shirt IS for this job, only thing I can remotely find close being related to it as NIN would be close to Sky Pirate in FFTA2. I hope it's not so simple and if it isn't the job teased with the shirt would mean the shirt would be teasing the mage class instead. Names of the turtles being Artists leading to Pictomancer from FF6 just feels like a better riddle.
I'd feel like Pictomancer was more likely if Alphie hadn't just changed to Sage last expansion. Krile seems the most likely to take up the new Magical DPS job and she's not the artist of the group.
If the "hint" was the ninja turtles, then I think the new melee is probably a swashbuckler or corsair with two weapons (probably sword and knife? two swords?) to share scouting gear with Ninja since, well, NINJA turtles and the fact all but one of the turtles wield two weapons
Here's a very galaxy brain theory. The Turtles are a hint for the Caster Job, but it's not Green Mage like everyone assumes. Yoshi-p is a gamer, and I'm sure he's played a little Gem known as Turtles in Time on the SNES. Turtles in Time = Time Mage.
Swashbuckler will likely be Sword/Pistol combo and function similarly to Red Mage but in reverse; where you build in points in Melee and then flip away to shoot them or something

I think the new job is actually a rune fencer or something with spell blades. They never show the full trailers, and the ember falling from the robe and being cut to allisae feels like there is more that is going to happen with that ember. Why would the camera follow it like that other wise?
I think you’re on the right track! The weapon feels especially fancy, not so swashbuckler-y. And the splash of an element and a grin feels like a tell.

Well, I am leaning between Corsair or Rune Fencer. Though I think Pictomancer is a very big chance for the new dps mage class. I am betting money Krille is a green mage. And you probably defeat monsters to add them to your book. Like the Blue mages spells. Corsair or Rune Blade because the sword he is wielding doesn't look much like a cutlass but a type of rapier. And the cut to alisaile who is a red mage with the fire. I am feeling Rune Blade. Though Corsair is also high because the Admiral on Limsa is a Corsair and we have seen her skills. So on that yeah, Rune Blade or Corsair wielding sword and gun.

the guy the wol is fighting gave him it after he got slashed and lit on fire. The slash is placed atop an old scar making it look new. You can see the slash is fresh on his face as it's coloured red, 1:43 is the time stamp if your curious.
@@Jon0001 ah I get it now! Thank you very much for clearing that up. I was sitting here going "ok but why is he dressed like the wol? Is this a new character when we typically get a class preview? They would have to be very important to have so much similarity to the wol but I've picked up no hints of something that big". That makes far more sense and gets me excited for a new class that's likely a pirate of some sort though the movements make me think of a fencer as well though the weapon style supports the first idea.
The WoL is 100 percent a Corsair in that trailer. I am sure he will rip off the burlap bag hoodie in the extended trailer and reveal the pirate/corsair job. Corsair fits perfecetly with the motif here.
Everyone around me said that the shirt is for the some new melee job with two swords. But i'm a simple man, i saw a lot of green on the shirt, and said : "It's a fucking green mage". And i stand by it, we'll see in the next fanfest for sure :)
I might be reading waaay to into it but my belief is that shirt is a hint for the corsair. I'm thinking the job is gonna be a split off from rogue maybe.... the shirt being the ninja turtles... rouge goes to ninja.... you get the picture. Yeah he's probably dual wielding something else. Either a dagger, a gun of sorts, or another cutlass. Very happy with the pirate choice. As for the caster... Idk. I'm still saving green mage as the next healer *shrug*

A game where everything is instanced duty finder there is no design forcing people to form friendships and work together to accomplish tasks. A game where they improved all the superficial aspects of an mmo at the cost of all the core values that make a mmo great. I played corsair for 8 years in FF11. It's my favorite job of all time. It can be a unique magical range DPS that could also buff. I am so hyped.

Im wondering if thats the wol we see fighting in a new class or if its someone else given the face scar we see in the later shot thats not in the first.
the guy the wol is fighting gave him it after he got slashed and lit on fire. The slash is placed atop an old scar making it look new. You can see the slash is fresh on his face as it's coloured red, 1:43 is the time stamp if your curious.
@@Jon0001 ah I get it now! Thank you very much for clearing that up. I was sitting here going "ok but why is he dressed like the wol? Is this a new character when we typically get a class preview? They would have to be very important to have so much similarity to the wol but I've picked up no hints of something that big". That makes far more sense and gets me excited for a new class that's likely a pirate of some sort though the movements make me think of a fencer as well though the weapon style supports the first idea.

The WoL is 100 percent a Corsair in that trailer. I am sure he will rip off the burlap bag hoodie in the extended trailer and reveal the pirate/corsair job. Corsair fits perfecetly with the motif here.

Corsair seems obvious from the trailer so I wonder if the shirt is a hint toward the caster job.
Everyone around me said that the shirt is for the some new melee job with two swords. But i'm a simple man, i saw a lot of green on the shirt, and said : "It's a fucking green mage". And i stand by it, we'll see in the next fanfest for sure :)
I might be reading waaay to into it but my belief is that shirt is a hint for the corsair. I'm thinking the job is gonna be a split off from rogue maybe.... the shirt being the ninja turtles... rouge goes to ninja.... you get the picture. But would live if it wasn't anything to do with that and instead a hint at a caster job.

A game where crafting and gil is redundant and for all intents and purposes made pointless because they are too scared of having to deal with RMT. A game where the overworld is completely pointless everything is for all intents and purposes instanced. A game where everything is instanced duty finder there is no design forcing people to form friendships and work together to accomplish tasks. A game so cookie cutter and boring that literally you could just as well be playing with NPC's in your party.
A game so cookie cutter and boring instead of actually having dynamic problem solving built into it for killing things they instead give you flashy graphics covering the screen and a rotation that essentially all does the same thing to occupy the mind to make it seem like you are actually doing something when you are not you may as well be pressing one button the whole time. A game where if you only subscribe to play content when it comes out they steal your housing.
A game where they improved all the superficial aspects of an mmo at the cost of all the core values that make a mmo great. FF14 may as well be thought of as a offline game with npc's designed to look like a mmo. Or a chat platform that milks people like a mobile game for cosmetics and useless stuff. Either way it's a mmo that needs to die so SE can focus on doing a new mmo and right this time.
