He could play the game at highest level. Put him alone upfront and he will single hand destroy any back line. Had excellent touch and incredible physical strength with football intelligence. He loved the game and loved Chelsea. Fair play to a legend of EPL.

It's such a good thing that he scored, too, because had he not scored, the referee would not have acknowledged that Drogba was fouled, I don't think.

My Two brothers and myself are Chelsea fans. My Father said it's not healthy for all the boys in a Family to be supporting the same team. He claimed to be a Man U fan and that he has always been before we were born. He hoped one of us would join him there. But in 2012, Drogba's exploit against Napoli, and Later Bayern in the Final turned him into a Chelsea fan.
We enjoyed Chelsea for years after that including Hazard years.

Kopite here but ive nothing but respect for Drogba. He was an absolute beast on the pitch and a nightmare for every opposition defender. Not just his finishing ability but his workrate was always high too.

He staid 1 season in Marseille, not 2 seasons (despite his stats : 32 goals, 55 games).
But what a season, maybe the best of his career.
We had a weak team. He played many games and scored many goals especially during great games in ucl (Porto, Madrid) than until the europa league final (against Liverpool, Inter, Newcastle)
One season was enough to keep Drogba in each Marseille's fan memory.
He hold the team along the season, playing alone as a target man. He had pace and stamina. He was strong and could keep the and score wonderful goals in every position. A beast.
