Thank you , I love your videos. You’ve help me a lot.❤❤❤ I’m following your videos
Fantastic instruction. You are Wonderful AND Marvelous!
Great tutorial
Great explanation, love the tutorial! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and talent ❤
Great video! I love what you said about “feeling it”. I appreciate the tip about matching side seams. I will definitely use that on my nest dress hem.
Have you tried the ban roll method?
Honey, I just happened upon your channel, the way you explain every step is a credit to you and those who taught you. Thank you from 🇮🇪
Where to get that? It's very helpful for someone like me a new sawing 😊
How can I do shear fabric I practice and still can do it
I don't recall her mentioning seam allowance until she cut.
Your tutorials are very informative and encouraging. I wish you could be looking over my shoulder while I take on this same task. But the video will have to suffice 😊
Unfortunately you hadn't explained clearly the procedure for placing the dress correctly on the table for measuring, marking, & cutting the hem, & glided through it as if it was the easiest thing to change from the pinned length to the final hem line, which you seemed to have done w/o apparently even a need for a drawn line! For a nervous sewist this is no less an overwheling challenge than to feed correctly the fabric into the foot of this particular hem.
I was hoping for an answer to my last question. Even a referral to a book. I get so many different measurements from the back when they are wearing heeels. I get reluctant to make a 5 inch cut in the back and a 3 inch in the front. Then when I look at my pins they are all over 3 3.5, 5etc. I average them. But wonder should I make it all one length no matter what the measurements was!!!
I’ve searched the YT and if I figure it out, I’ll make a video!!!!!
Ok h we’ll🥱🙃
Fantastic, love this.
Ban Roll hem is best. (Sorry - too much work to stop and fold)
Great tips for rolled hems and satin material. I love your sewing videos
Wow! Been hemming prom and wedding dresses for years, and learned so much from this video on rolled hems. Thank you so very much! ❤
Love the idea of wearing a glove for protection from your roller cutter!
Absolutely terrific - love the clarity and instructions on how to use your fingers. Thank you. Learnt loads. Keep up the good work.
Brilliant video. I found it so helpful. Thankyou.
Every time I watch, I’m smarter!! Thanks so much!
How do I measure, pin and see a MOH dress already made for a girl who has a large derrière? The back measurements are so much shorter than the front!!! Plus I have 3 layers!!!
You just motivated me and saved me from paying $45 on a single layer dress hem from the local dry cleaners! I have a sewing machine on the garage shelf and I need to put it to use!!! Thanks so much!
I just happened on your video today while researching hems techniques for my granddaughter’s graduation dress. I really enjoyed watching the video and feel totally confident on doing the hem. Thank you for being so clear and concise in your instructions. Regards from 🇨🇦😊
I tried using a rolled hem foot and it doesn't go through the seams. Any advice?
Thank you very much, very good tutorial.
This is awesome. How hot did you have the iron set on?
I’m using an industrial steam iron and I have it set at about halfway to max so on a scale of one to eight I leave it just above a four I couldn’t tell you exactly what that temperature is!
I was thankful to watch this, amazing job. I feel less stressed about this alteration ❤
Thank you, Shae! You've done it again, gotten us through what would otherwise have been a tricky first-of-its-kind sewing project. Your video helped my daughter hem her own prom dress. Gave me some great ideas, too! Thank you!!
Brilliant video. I found it so helpful. Thankyou.
You're very welcome! Its way more involved then just 'cut and sew' so I'm glad we finally got this video out.
Shae!! I'm on vacation and day 1 begins with coffee and your UA-cam videos on the big screen! lol Love them all. Xo
This was so helpful, thank you! Such a relief to watch you sew a rolled hem on a curved edge the way I’ve been doing it, as I thought there was a more technical way I should have been doing it!
I love your work! I have a normal, not industrial sewing machine... How can I use that presser foot for corners?
This is so helpful, thank you! I am taking an inch off my floor length green satin dress to celebrate 25 years of happy marriage ❤
Your videos the absolute best! So clear in the demonstration and angle of the camera and you showed the whole entire process. Thank you so much!
Very detailed with great tips. Thank you.
Hello! I have a question. What needle size and thread weight do you recommend? Thanks so much! Your videos are some of the very best.
I’m almost always using a thread weight of tex 30 and a needle between 75 and 90.
This is so refreshing to see a sewing video with this much detail . I have to make 3 flower girl dresses sizes 2,3,6 (my granddaughters) and there’s going to be a lot of hemming on these multiple level dresses. I want the hems to be pretty even on the underneath . I’m so glad I found this site . I love your sewing machine- it sound like a a robot
You are a brave woman to make all those dresses, but I know you can do it!
Gracias por sus videos interesantes
