- In our MSC Seascape Gala Dinner & First Port video we will go over days 2 and 3 of our cruise on the MSC Seascape. The Gala Dinner was great, with a surf and turf offering.
We also used the thermal spa on the ship, had the buffet for breakfast and lunch and went to check out the theater.
Our first port was Barcelona, where we got off the ship and rode the hop on hop off bus around town.
The food on the MSC Seascape has been great so far and we are excited to see what they offer on the rest of the cruise.

Thanks for share your great dinner dishes video in "SLOW MOTION" just nice done ( some other video in UA-cam when record foods are just too fast so just can not see what are in the dishes :). Hope you mentioned that new MSC ship not only have glamour beautiful modern style ship but also "fixed" some of food complaints from past. Looks like you two are off to a great start! I'm glad to hear the food is better. We have taken only one MSC cruise a few years ago and like you, we felt the food just wasn't what we expected from an Italian cruise line. Looking forward to your further adventures!

So glad they're stepping up the food! MSC has always seems like a great option except for that. Though I have heard that the quality can vary by ship too. You'll just have to book another MSC cruise and compare :). Question: have you booked an excursion through them? I'd be interested to know how their excursions handle the multi-language situation.
We haven't booked one yet, we've just been doing our own thing so far
I can't wait to cruise on January 2 for my birthday with my friends!! We will Def gonna check out the Mexican restaurant!!

I was on the MSC Seashore last year and had Osso Buco for the 1st time. It was amazing. I’m still thinking about it.

Yes, there is lemonade, coffee and water.

@@m.p.7152 There is one but it was included with most people's rate on this cruise so I'm not sure they are selling it. It's just free bottles of water at the bar.

So you had mentioned that the cruise line gives you a bus ticket when you port and it cost $9. Could you elaborate on how you paid for it? Did you have Euros before coming into port, did you pay for the bus ticket with a credit card? Since you travel a lot, I would love for you to add these ‘how we did it’ tidbits on paying for items and the timing of it all. Thank you!!!
They just charged it to your room if you wanted it.

Hello! Do you happen to remember much was the thermal suite day pass?
The day pass is $80 per person or $120 per couple. We got the 17 days on our cruise for $277 per person.
It's cheapest if you book with their app ahead, I've just come back from this ship.
How formal are the main dining room dress codes on regular and formal nights? Hard to tell but looks like Rob is wearing a polo. I’m trying to limit luggage to one backpack for my December seascape cruise.
I wore the polo for the formal night and a t-shirt on embarkation day. They don't seem too strict about it. We try to carry as little as possible too!
Hi for the specialty dining I was thinking about getting the package but don’t think my family will eat at Ocean Cay. I just want to do Hola tacos and cantina, butchers cut and Kaito teppanyaki. For Hola Tacos and cantina did you have to pay for everything? Does anything come included if you get the package?
You might want to consider just doing a la carte instead of the package. It seems like the better deal when we look at the prices. You can just pay per item at the Hola Tacos or get the package or they have $17.99 for all you can eat.

MSC doesn't have crème Brule but they do have that Crema Catalana and its almost as good!

Hi, did you order directly from msc or from a travel agent. If from msc, do you have any tips or problems that occured with this ? A travel agent want us to order through them because they say we would be insured from them.
We booked through MSC and got a few extra perks for doing so.

@@700872723 They have cards you buy, so for instance you can get $150 card that lets you play $150 worth of games. That one comes with an extra $70 so you get $220 for $150. They don't have an all you can play pass.

I've come back from this ship.
My main issues with the ship are lack of entertainment and problems with technology.
I think the entertainment might have been because it was a transatlantic, and the audience didn't speak the same languages. I think the US entertainment will be different, but I guess we will get reports on it soon!

I've come back from this ship, the WiFi is expensive and slow.
It depends on which WiFi package you buy.

We can't totally remember, but I think it was $99. The week long was a better deal.
If she likes a heavy shower I suggest looking o Ebat and buying a older shower head. I've been drilled the openings wider. And boosted my city water pressure to 80#. The flow will knock you down but also scrub you down
