That scene with Rick talking to those people in the church into killing a whole group of people really reminded me of the Governor talking to the people in his camp to invade the prison.
He is right.. Ricks group volunteer to take out these guys like if they were Top Dogs of the zombie world. None of them were concerned.. thats the whole point of the Tara scene where she says she liked it.. and father gabriel and maggie going pregnant. The whole point of all of them is to show how overconfident they were.
This is one of my favorite episodes. Rick has the best fighters, and no one can tell me differently. Also, don't ever underestimate the ladies in Rick's group because they're more hardcore than the men. Rick really showed his strategic skills when it comes to getting the job done. This makes me realize that his first strategy he chose to get Beth out of that weird hospital would've worked. I'm still mad about Beth's death. What I love about Rick's new leadership style is that he's giving the group options, and they're all deciding how to proceed. Just remember they chose this. Daryl came up with the idea to kill Negan's group, Maggie made the deal, Rick chose the strategy, and Alexandria chose to fight. The best moments were Glenn being a G, and Father Gabriel and that sick ass line.
One of the things that make this such a great episode is that both schools of thought actually are valid: Rick was right to preemptively attack the Saviors vs they made a huge mistake going in with limited information
Rick’s you’ll have to accept it line is the same thing Carol said to him at the prison for burning the two infected members Karen and David that were isolated.
Didn't Ilyas agree with Rick to attack? Following Ricks's speech to the group, I could have sworn he was all for the attack. Why is he acting now like he was always against it? 😁 Bro waffling as always.
I know that wasn’t you referring to Rosita as a hater THIS episode. 🥴Abraham treated her like dirt the way he left her. She has every reason to be upset.
He didn't backtrack, he was expanding on his answer. Why does everything have to be an argument? Each of you are entitled to your opinion, and an opinion isn't right or wrong. Based on just the info that Rick and crew has about the saviors so far, Morgan was dead wrong. Negan beat a teenager to death to prove a point. They wanted Gregory's head in exchange for the hostage. They're not interested in conversation. Good plan or not, it's the only one they had.
Comic Comparisons : This attack on the outpost doesn’t happen in the comics At this point in the comics Negan is just a whisper in the woods They did talk to Gregory (the attack on Gregory and the subsequent conversation is straight from the comics line for line) but this attack doesn’t happen.
I agree with Ilyas. This was a failed mission, they went in without enough information. It is important to have someone like Morgan to hold a counter opinion to help the group think through all angles so they come up with the best solution.... though I don't agree with 'talking to them' as Morgan said... I think the whole mission was planned poorly, executed perfectly, but planned poorly.
The point is that Iliyas agreed with Rick. He was on board with the attack. When the attack failed, he quickly backtracked with criticism for the whole mission. He does this all the time.
That one scene made me HATE Abraham. There was no reason for that, he hurt her and she did nothing to deserve it. And honestly, I like her better than Sasha...who's always gotten on my nerves
Crazy episode! Rick's confidence is getting a little scary. He does not know anything about the saviours and their outpost. Considering the ppl on the walkie talkie, they didn't get them all! Who's Negan? Was he in there? I would be scared if I were them
Guys guys guys! Everyone argues about Rick's decision and Morgans moral ground. Can you please let each person talk, you make me wanna be on with going ok it's your turn lol. Your old enough to respect others opinions.
This episode is perfect, the first person Glenn killed, and I believe the first person Gabriel killed (directly) too, Jesus is one of the only new characters I would actually put in a top 5
This mission was a disaster, literally everything that will happen from now on was because Rick got too arrogant, our people shouldn't have gotten into this in the first place
WHY do you guys have to argue on EVERY. SINGLE. VIDEO??? WHYYY?? WHYYYYYY?????? You guys are too immature, seriously. Tho I think if this AJ guy is out then the dynamic improves exponentially. He’s the bad apple of the group here. Bring in someone else in his place, pleeeease! I don’t even understand how you guys are friends with all of this constant arguing. lol The guy who’s always in the middle is my favorite! I love his thoughts and reactions. He’s really smart too. The fat guy is super smart too but the one in the middle, I love the way he watches this show!! Now let’s kick this AJ guy out and bring in someone who doesn’t act antagonistic for sport.
Abraham was being a dick to Rosita, what he said to her was sooo wrong! He should have talked to her, but instead he just starts packing. He broke her! So I dont congratulate him for Sasha because of what he did to Rosita.
i do think the way Abe broke up with Rosita was very cruel, but I like Abe and Sasha's relationship more. They're more similar and have been in similar situations where they've lost something or someone to live for. But Abe def should have abstained from saying that awful shit to Rosita
@@kimberlywilmoth9184 He said I thought u were the last woman on earth, YOU WEREN'T! That is sooo mean! He was perfectly capable of having a real talk, that was rude and uncalled for. I met him at the last Walker Stalker Con, he was very nice actor/director
@@hippielady123 You really think that's mean? I don't get it, I don't think that's mean. She wanted an explanation and that was what was on his mind, that's how he felt. He's saying there's more than just you out there, and it's the truth. I've never understood the hate Abe gets over this 🤷♀️
I wouldn't say it was a failed mission per se. Yes, we didn't get Negan, but at least we don't have to deal with these outposts of men again. Plans never go smoothly, but it's about how you handle the hickups. Sasha, Abraham, and Daryl already took out 30 of Negan's men. They were always going to knock on Alexandria's door. Morgan has a right to voice his feelings, but talking to the Saviors would never work. They would've just killed someone in our group for trying to "talk" to them. All in all, Jesus gave Rick unknowingly the wrong information. They had to work quickly to save one of the Hilltop's people. This is the information that was given. There was no time to do longer research.
I mean by now you know but Negan wasn't wrong for wanting Greogory's head😂😂 puhh I get the „we had to come for them before they come for us“ thing and that it all was just a ticking time bomb but killing people in their sleep is some morbid shit. And I agree remember how careful they always were before approaching a group, attacking a group? They didn't plan it enough beforehand because the gang started feeling too secure about themselves but they forgot one crucial thing: they will always be a bigger fish
Ilyas agreed with Rick's decision to attack. After Ricks's speech to the group, he was totally on board. Now when the mission fails, he is ready with his usual blame games, acting as if he was always against the attck..
It’s interesting how Morgan and Rick are both opposites on that but Rick needs more common sense sometimes. Killing people in their sleep is horrible no matter how much I love our group. I have never been on board with that idea.
@@Rknowles813well actually no. There are rules even in a war. You can look online 👀 There is a difference between war and genocide but this is not the place to talk about it.

Exactly, that’s why Tara felt uncomfortable with it.
Yes there is a parallel
Talk about two drastically different situations though.
@@kimberlywilmoth9184 yes
That's why they show Tara being concerned when Rick says "Kill em' All" which was literally Philip's last words as the tank rolled up to the prison.
I love the parallel between Rick’s we kill them all and the same thing having been said by the Governor.
He is right.. Ricks group volunteer to take out these guys like if they were Top Dogs of the zombie world. That would make a good joke lol

After what happened at the prison, Rick wont leave anyone alive. The Governor came back because they didnt kill him
Also Gareth's group and the guy who killed Lori
I admit it Father Gabriel’s bit a is a favourite in this episode Also if you go back to the heads to be Gregory’s one is a Johnny Depp head.
Rick’s you’ll have to accept it line is the same thing Carol said to him at the prison for burning the two infected members Karen and David that were isolated.
