This was the most awfully made Star Trek series ever and i mean no disrespect to the actor's they were a great bunch of people who i liked alot. The effects were high end but thats were it stopped. They could have called it anything else and taken away the delta symbols and i would have had a better opinion of it, but calling it Star Trek was not a good choice. That didn't even look like a Progenitor. Originally the Progenitors looked more like Odo combined with the martian Cronicles.
The series is right in line with many of Star Trek's core themes while at the same time pushing the boundaries of the minds of Trek stories that can be told. If it doesn't resonate with you that's of course fine, but is absolutely is Star Trek.

Why on discovery EVERY episode in EVERY series "could end all life in the universe" ? The Season 5 is the latest american junk film as of May 2024. And probably the junkiest film of 2024. The story writer should be fired as the whole story is non-sense. The blackman/girl's acting skill are terrible. We don't want to watch the love between them nor their emotional expression but they kept doing that wasted a lot of our time to watch those junk stories. It is so excruciating to watch this garbage show. It's really punishing to me. (Non-sense #1) The whole story is non-sense as the god technology couldn't bring death to life so it defeated the story itself. And Molly suddenly ok with that after she came back from black out. (Non-sense #2) All federation ships saluted to the departure of Discovery for what? What's the point of that?! And they are just even sending Zora to somewhere else to strand it intentionally. I don't see any point of doing it. (Non-sense #3) Why Zora would accept such as a situation to be stranded forever? Guess what? A smart-ass A.I like that, she wouldn't find its way home? What the.. (Non-sense #4) The black girl discovery captain just kept smiling slowly in the last 20 minutes.. feel moronic. If she thinks this is so called "acting" then it is better not to hire this girl for any film in the future. Her slow-smiling-to-pretend-everything-smooth just made this film more disgusting. (Non-sense #5) The last 20 minutes are totally unnecessary. We don't want to see Sulu's wedding with Vulcan grandma and just don't see how they do the interstellar fucking or mating. (Non-sense #6) The god technology itself is nothing and to use it as the main story line is so dumb. Just chasing air or empty. CONCLUSION: The season 5 is the poorest star trek film that I have ever watched in my life. I sincerely hope that all the film crews and actors would be banned from doing any show in the rest of their life in order to avoid wasting any further of our time.
