I saw on Twitter hours before that Diana was announced to come out and sing happy birthday and I was so excited. In my mind, I thought it was going to be arranged during the opening ballad segment or at the very end of the show with a cake. For some reason, it never registered to me that they would repurpose this moment for her entrance. As the band was playing before, I used the moment to check messages on my phone and social media. Suddenly people were screaming and I look up and see Diana Ross - I lost it. I captured it on my channel but I would’ve LOVED to have gotten the full moment like you did. What a surprise and iconic moment to witness. I’ll never forget it.
