An Afternoon in Portland (feat. AMTK

A little railfanning in Portland, Oregon from yesterday afternoon. Starting at the famous "Horn Alley", I caught Coast Starlight train no. 11 leaving town, followed by a long and slow UP intermodal departing Albina Yard. Coast Starlight no. 14 was running behind schedule, but it was worth the wait. While I already knew that Heritage Unit #156 (Phase I) would be on no. 14, I had no idea that Veterans Unit #42 was the assigned power for the Empire Builder that afternoon. A very nice surprise!
