The reason your phone is vibrating when you touch it pick it up or if it's in your pocket is because stock it is set to vibrate when you pick it up or touch it from sleep turn off this feature and it will stop also saves you a very small amount of battery life let me know if you try this or if it works 🫡
Since I switched to s23 ultra from iphone 13 pro max, one big thing I noticed is how strong the cell reception and 5g speed and connectivity is compared to the iphone! In fact, there are many spots where the iphone loses signal or the signal is weak where the Samsung has not had that issue whatsoever!
agreeee forgot to mention that lol... like in the basement of my condo I get reception sometimes with the ultra... iphone never!. Also my ultra connects so much faster to my locks and automation devices.
I do re-watch your videos when I can't think of anything to watch on UA-cam because they are just cinematic masterpieces and this one is on another level 🔥
I do find it odd to realise that I agree with 99% of your opinions about andriod and apple. Kinda felt sad about people roasting you in the previous video on samsung s23 just because you said what yoy genuinely felt like. Don't ever be pushed back from any of the negative comments man, be you be andres 😊 sorry if I seems cringy but it is what comes out of my mind
sending you much love Erin. You always support the channel and comment dude. I try to answer as much a I can when you comment! Thanks for the kind words fr
Craaaazyyyyyyyyy intro Andres! So happy to see the old cinematic back, the effort you guys put in really shows through. Wanna see more of such high quality content. And I want an s23 ultra even more badly after watching this.
there is a faster way to add apps to your home screen, tap & hold the app, and a menu will show up where "add to home screen" will be one of the options there. By the way.. Love your honesty. That is what makes your reviews awesome.
Thank you Luis! haha I definitely found that odd, good to know this. For a UI thats so good at what it does I found it so odd. Definitely loving this thing more and more
About the random vibration - there is an option in advanced settings that your phones vibrates when you have missed message / phone call and you pick it up. Make sure to turn that off and it will stop. Found this on the web but might be different on ONEUI 5.1 Settings > Advanced Features > Motions and Gestures > Smart Alert
This video didn't disappoint and seriously considering the switch from OnePlus to the S23 Ultra. It was also cool to see you feature the GMMK keypad that I won last month. 🙂
I'm a first-time viewer of your video. Very well done, and I like that you share many of the feelings I have for Samsung Galaxy. I have been inside of Galaxy since I basically started, I came from a Windows phone that had an Android port and when they came out with a phone with a stylus I was done, because I'm a writer. Being able to ideas down and use it as a camera shutter Etc is one of my favorite features. I bought a case for my phone that carries the cards I need with me, and I was able to eliminate carrying a purse which I really like LOL. Anyway great job on your video and I'm glad you enjoy using the s23 ultra
Couple of things to Note. You don't have to swipe twice to see quick panel and just brightness. You can use two finger swipe from top to access the quick panel and don't have to see notifications. For keyboard, you can try Gboard which is a better keyboard experience. Samsung keyboard is also good but it needs sometime to pick your pace.
You can use one hand operation+ and set shortcuts on the edges of the phone. One of which is to access quick panel directly so you don't have do use two hands. You can also set apps to open in full or in pop-up view just by swiping on the edge of the phone. SPen works better on Samsung native keyboard and being able to set its transparency in pop-up mode is helpful (for me) esp when in games. You can also add effects to it via keys cafe. But I still use Microsoft swiftkey mostly because the full keyboard mode can be resized really small so it's easier to swype. I mostly use one hand even on ultra device because of OneUI and one hand operation+. I also got used to swype one handedly so I rarely type on keyboard.
Awesome. I think you may have picked the best time (or year) to switch since the S23 Ultra is arguably the best all-in-one gadget/smartphone right now... even better than its predecessors. Also as a programmer myself, I am actually surprised you didn't appreciate Sam/droids flexibility earlier. But at the same time, I was also not surprised you adapted so fast. Great video btw 👍👍
I've had a note 9 since 2019 and just recently got the s23 ultra. your thumbnail made me realize I can put the apps I use most on my home screen. I NEVER knew why I didn't do that before
vibration can happen when you are in a conversation and even though the notification might not appear on the top bar, the vibration gets triggered so you know you were responded to. you can also check in settings->sounds and vibration-> system vibration - you might have stuff there that triggers vibration too
I love that if you loan someone your phone so they can make a phone call you can lock the dialer screen to just that screen so they won't or can't go snooping around your phone.
You’d have to sell your kidney to buy it haha. Glad you’re enjoying it though. I switched from s series to 14 pro Max. Not really feeling it. Missing out on so many things
So the battles between an iphone 14 pro vs Samsung s23 has been decided in me after watching this video. Thank you1!!! That was awesome! +++ the aestheticness 1!!!
You can really see that the woman at the camera store really loves her job my experience with buying expensive tech is when the employees are more like very happy with the product them self it’s gives me a more relaxed vibe and want to spend more money unconsciously but that’s just me.
The extra vibration is like a snoozed notification that reminds you in case you didn't see it the first time. Same way how an iPhone makes 2 notification sounds when you get a test message and don't see it the first time.
I really enjoyed watching this video. I really like how you put so much effort in to fully evaluating the S23 Ultra from an iPhone user's perspective. It's great that you see just how well Android and Samsung can deliver. Can I ask which Gmail alternative app you were using? I am always looking out for a decent Gmail equivalent.
I've been watching a lot of content on the S23 Ultra since I'm gonna be getting one soon, and it's crazy how many videos there are of iPhone users switching to Android. I've exclusively used android since the early days of smart phones and I gotta say it's a very good OS. Sure my experience with anything else is pretty limited, but there's no way I'd ever switch.
Man, I am too watching a lot about this phone and too gonna get one. It seems that the android has idk... more to offer for the user like, with the personalisation and using the phone barely like a mini pc
I so get what you're saying about size....its why I haven't upgraded from my Note 10.....the new notes, aka Ultras, are huge. I do like both Apple and Android and they both have their goods and bads. I have a iPhone 12 I keep for those times I want to play, but I always go back to Android. Great video, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for not only your honesty, but for your work you put into the video.
I use my iPhone Monday to Thursday night and Samsung from then to Sunday night. Honestly, I can't wait to use my Samsung. I cannot 100% switch because my Company bought me a huge Apple ecosystem. I really want to switch to the S23 Ultra but I really don’t want to abandon my HomePod, Apple Card and Apple Watch. I know I can still use my Apple TV and iPad without an iPhone but everything runs so much better together. I really got myself stuck into the Apple Ecosystem :/

That´s so interesting. It took me forever to type on an iphone, to me particularly the GBoard makes my typing SOOO faster, that´s actually mindblowing. Resizing the keyboard and making it bigger (fitting my masculine hands :D) made it even faster. I now hate the completely featureless iphone keyboard :D
Go to settings notification see all apps select any apps you suspect might be causing the random vibration and toggle off or notification categories you can also clear their coach and data or restart your Android device it's vibrations are due to background apps running unchecked these are why there might be some of the reasons that your phone keeps vibrating constantly check it Good luck
18:08 that v8 modurrr sound 🤤🤤. I love cars and tech so this video was like a 2 in 1 for me lol seeing them Porsches and seeing the opinions you have of the s23 ultra
All ima say is the iPhone is HARD to DITCH however once u do its hard to go back. I like the edge display and edge lighting. But I have the fold now :(
If keeps vibrating if you have Messages you aren’t attending to I guess it’s Reminding you you have take care of them try erasing all messages from the Notification panel and see
Pretty sure you have your notifications reminder on that's why you don't have new notifications but the phone is reminding you that there are notifications that you haven't seen. Awesome videos love what you do so much!
Congratulations 🎊 👏 I'm wondering for the past 3 years why is still taking so long to iphone users to understand what they avoided in exchange for "swap fluidity" but now I'm amazed how many "non believers" had confirmed Samsung 🔝
about the UI Querks, when you hold down an app icon to move it to the home screen wait another second without moving it and it'll automatically go the home screen instead of dragging the app all the way up or down.
Editing is getting really good and it's been awesome to see the growth. As for the random notification sounds, you might have the volume at vibrate vs mute. Try Notification Sounds > Volume and check the slider(s). There's also vibration settings in the same menu Good video as always. Hope you enjoy your android experience
I made the switch about 6 years ago and I have to say the notifaction menu on android and swipe to go back keep me on android. I still think iPhone is great though.
2 things, switch your keyboard to Gboard , I prefer it more than the Samsung key board. 2- the s pen transforms Lightroom mobile, it's amazing with the s pen for masks and adjusting sliders, si ce you're a photographer, I highly recommend using the s pen for editing in lightroom!
I think Im going to suck it up and get the phone back. I had it and returned it after watching your Day in the Life i'm going to get it. what about Samsung pay t felt a little bucky when I tried to set it up
I love android. It's really good, well, in my opinion... Like you said it has so much freedom you can customise so much stuff on it, which is good to make the phone feel adjusted to you. It of course has its problems like any other:(
I agree yeah but the phone just feels a bit more alive to me compared to the iphone... im excited to see how iphone will come back this year. Ive seen many people switch from iphone to samsung for the past few weeks

The irregular vibrations is due to reminder to look into the notifications options must be on.

Just got mine few hours ago... it's beautiful and a performance beast !!
ouffff enjoy it bro
Go to settings notification see all apps select any apps you suspect might be causing the random vibration and toggle off or notification categories you can also clear their coach and data or restart your Android device it's vibrations are due to background apps running unchecked these are why there might be some of the reasons that your phone keeps vibrating constantly check it Good luck
2:09 AAAAAAAA OMFG YOU FADED IT BACK IN AT THAT PART ON PURPOSE C*BRN😆love it!
hahahhahaha
20:26 Just hold the app icon for a few seconds and the home screen will appear - you don't have to drag all the way to the top.
Gotchaaaaa! Edit: I love the comment section you guys are hellah helpful. Much love
This year Samsung has more appreciation than ever... 😉
And me and probabbly a lot of people here with our phones that have android 7/8

If keeps vibrating if you have Messages you aren’t attending to I guess it’s Reminding you you have take care of them try erasing all messages from the Notification panel and see
Top notch transitions. *Chef’s kiss*
I loved this video. You should do more videos like this one.
haha I know you guys love them they are just insanely hard to make and I cant make them all the time you guys will get bored haha.
About random vibration, you may also want to check this:
Notifications > Advanced Settings > Notification reminders
Turn if off if it's on.
Cheers! 🙂
14:02 Why'd you use a physical payment card when you could've used the Galaxy to pay?
My current credit card is not compatible with apple pay or samsung pay -.- sucks so I need a new cc fr
Pretty sure you have your notifications reminder on that's why you don't have new notifications but the phone is reminding you that there are notifications that you haven't seen. Awesome videos love what you do so much!
that would makes total sense man cause thats driving me nuts... the notif reminder on iphone is soo different compared to One UI
Which Video did you watch about the Tips & Tricks for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra?
Congratulations 🎊 👏 I'm wondering for the past 3 years why is still taking so long to iphone users to understand what they avoided in exchange for "swap fluidity" but now I'm amazed how many "non believers" had confirmed Samsung 🔝
been waiting for this so long, love it
Thank you bro!
about the UI Querks, when you hold down an app icon to move it to the home screen wait another second without moving it and it'll automatically go the home screen instead of dragging the app all the way up or down.
Editing is getting really good and it's been awesome to see the growth. As for the random notification sounds, you might have the volume at vibrate vs mute.
Try Notification Sounds > Volume and check the slider(s). There's also vibration settings in the same menu
Good video as always. Hope you enjoy your android experience
Thank you for trying to help brother!! Ivan in the comment section figured it out finally
Ah man the video was already amazing. But adding Bad Bunny just made it 10x better in the cinematic and later haha. Great one!
I made the switch about 6 years ago and I have to say the notifaction menu on android and swipe to go back keep me on android. I still think iPhone is great though.
bro your videos are really amazing. Love our style
I had it and returned it after watching your Day in the Life i'm going to get it. what about Samsung pay t felt a little bucky when I tried to set it up
Whatever you do my guy, keep on living. From Botswana 🇧🇼 in Africa
I switched from the iphone 14 pro max to S23 Ultra ❤❤❤ Worth it!!!
Amazing Video Bro intro Super Cool I Like Your Videos Too Much Main Issues With some Samsung Phone is Software updates only for 3Years That's Why i Switched to Iphone
Thank you bro!
Could be a vibration due to "accidental touch", this can be disabled if you simple search in settings and turn off.
