100k coming soon. You're killing it. Not a rolex rolex rolex shill like most just chasing clicks. Real freaking watch impressions with personality and reality in mind.
I have the gray dial version. I love it. The bracelets from the other current Sector series for the watch and also look great. The leather strap is super nice.
Don't be bitter please. I don't give a flying fly about your wrist size or unsolicited advice, you just happen to make very entertaining and well put together videos on a subject that I love, and you are definitly amongst the best at it. To me.
Your video made me pull the trigger on the Metro. The video quality and everything captures it much better than others. I was a little hesitant because of the blue accents but in this video it looks super subtle.
Looks like they drew a lot of inspiration for the turquoise dial from Farer. Seems like a lot of watch for the price. Some syringe hands would have been a good touch for my taste.
Somehow I feel like it took inspiration from Hermes. I'll be more interested to see the Miyota 9075 get into more watches, I just like the movement in terms of function, beat rate and thinness but this is definitely the nicest *XX34 I've seen.
Indeed; that dark blue version is a "looker"! The brown strap suites it perfectly ... and yeah, "... on the slippery, dangerous slope of watch collecting". You got THAT right! 😉 Thanks for sharing!
I'm saving up for my second 'serious' watch - probably the GS SBGM221, and pair it with a grey suede strap much as you did - but perhaps I'll divert a bit of that saving pot into the blue dial of one of these. They look really nice (although in theory I prefer the traveller style gmt).
isnt concentric brushing when the brush strokes are parallel to the circumference, and radial brushing when the brush strokes are perpendicular to it (shooting out from the centre)?
Wait, so you are telling me that you've measured your wrist? Finally!!! So... what's the size? Maybe you should put a quarter or a dollar bill next to a watch... or a Seiko... or something that is recognizable. But seriously you does best reviews on YTubz.
Hey I'm in Portland area what are some watch meet ups to check out. I haven't really gone to any meetups before. I'm waiting on the Sector deep rn. Love to bring it along with some other to meet up.
From becoming an adult in the 1990's I'm often flabbergasted by 38 watches being qualified of small, my favorite watches are the 35 to 38 thin ones and I have a 7+ wrist. No it doesn't look goofy, 40 mm + on weed wacker arms do look stupid tho
These are pretty. Both versions are really nice. But I don’t really like the semi circle colour difference. I get it serves a purpose but I’d rather it wasn’t there. And the lugs could be a fraction shorter. That aside, for the price, these are great value indeed. Have you seen the lander IV from Farer? Similar to the Nodus but with a sellita movement. Also really pretty
So, silly question. I've bitched on your channel before about small watches and my 8" wrist. I was wondering if the 47mm Lug to Lug is too small (or pushing it) for 8 inches.
Pretty sure this video made the metro gray model sell out🤣 This is the first video to really show off both color ways and has made me commit to buying a metro and a beads of rice bracelet when they restock.
Although they look beautiful, the GMT function is close to useless because there are no odd 24-hr indicators, and from 10:00am to 2:00pm (second time zone) you can't tell what time it is. So these become fashion-watch like in nature.
Weird. I'd say the tops of the lugs are brushed concentrically, as in each arc of brushing has the same center point. Weirdly, a quick google image search of "radial brushing" shows this concentric pattern, as you describe on the tops of the lugs. Yet, an image search of "radial lines" shows the pattern on the bezel, which I would describe as radially brushed, as in each brush stroke follows a radius of the circle. Go figure...
I really love what Nodus has done with this ones... especially the greenish one looks fantastic! By the way... where did you get that bund strap? Looks good on your 8" wrist 👍
@@diegogalbarriatu447 it allows the GMT hand to indicate a second time zone across 24hour period within one rotation. Might be best reading up on how GMT watches work.
Can the movement be adjusted in only 1 hour increments? If so this watch is not useful for tracking time in India, a part of Australia, Venezuela, Newfoundland and a number of other place with off-hour time zones. A non-click internal bezel would solve the issue.
Nodus Sector, meh / Nodus Sector GMT, yep. Fast as the wrong upload last week... 😉 PS The brush is (maybe) called centrifugal, i guess, could be... you know... right?
Nooo not my wallet, don’t do it. All jokes aside, this may scratch my GMT itch. I’ve been putting off my next watch purchase off for a while, was going to pull a trigger on a Christopher ward but decided not too, but I feel at this price, it’s really a bargain. After this I promise I’ll save up for an Omega Seamaster 300.
Those watches are gorgeous... but those hour and minute hands are stupid and I hate them. I guess the upside it there's about a million replacements to be had since it's rocking the Seiko movement.
@@YoureTerrific Let’s agree here. ;) I meant the watch hands are terrible. This is one of watch DNA. That’s why currently we have only 5 very good microbrands. 10 are good. Rest is repetitive. Don’t want be offensive, is my opinion.
My girlfriend and I want to but matching watches and ideally a somewhat elegant and not overly sporty GMT because we live in different timezones. It seems like the Nodus is a hot contender now.
Sector dials really make ANY watch look another level. Lovely piece this Nodus.

Always liked what Nodus are doing. Thankyou for your internet opinions
I’m glad that Nodus is getting some attention. They do make a very good value quality watch for a micro brand.
I have the Nodus sector field Marina. Elegant, sporty, and irresistible

The dials are stunning. I may get one of these instead of the SSK001 since I already have the 009

Great review mate as usual with a few LOLs thrown in. Thanks for shouting out Australia. Cheers Matt😊
Nezumi is also releasing two GMT watches using the new Seiko 5 GMT movement. They look amazing as well!
Awesome
Super nice looking watch. Great specs for the cash. And you’re very funny!

The Walter Shoback quote earned you a new fan today... 👍
It really tied the video together.
You should check out the Traska Venturer GMT. I thought that the Miyota 9075 is the answer for a traveller GMT.
Re: "outward" brushing on bezel - In graphic design, that treatment is called 'conical', like a cone. For example, a conical gradient.
When when you called me little buddy, I took that personally
I love that you called me "little buddy". In my mind you tousled my hair.
I recently purchased the blue dial Sector GMT and love it. This watch would be worth it at double the $475 price!
isnt concentric brushing when the brush strokes are parallel to the circumference, and radial brushing when the brush strokes are perpendicular to it (shooting out from the centre)?
I think it's also called sunburst. 😊
i reallllllllly like this watch. when they do one with a GMT bezel, I am sold
I own the grey dial Metro version, great watch for the money. My first GMT piece.
With the WR of 100 meters, adding a rubber like the one in the video seems like a no-brainer, great do anything watch.
Nice watch... If it had a bracelet and a quick adjust clasp this would be an insta buy for me
😂 lollll “little buddy”. Great video - looking to try a gmt.
Hey how did you get into a watch meetup? I'm in/around Portland and I'd love to participate

Is the gray one still available?
Skydweller vibes going on? Nice.
I would love a 40-41mm version of these. I have an 8" wrist, sorry.
How big (or small) do you think the gap is between this and the Monta Atlas in terms of quality and watch-ness…
I'm liking the (gray scale) one.
Me too! This is the only video I’ve seen that shows off both colorways.

Funny, a friend of mine is looking for a first mechanical timepiece and yeah, this might be it. Indeed it might.

Radial. Or sunburst brushing.
So, silly question. I've bitched on your channel before about small watches and my 8" wrist. I was wondering if the 47mm Lug to Lug is too small (or pushing it) for 8 inches.
Really depends on your style. You probably want more like a 50mm length.
No watch is too small, but watch can be too large. I have 6.5 wrist and I wear 32mm to 45mm,all works
Pretty sure this video made the metro gray model sell out🤣 This is the first video to really show off both color ways and has made me commit to buying a metro and a beads of rice bracelet when they restock.

I don't understand how Nodus can make a GMT that's so small and thin using Seiko's movement, but Seiko can't.
Deja Vu? 😳

Sometimes "yes" says as much as a nodus.
Hello fellow watch nerds--Nodus me, and please please please like, comment and subscribe.
Its pretty nice, but I really dont like the hands
“Nodus” lol
Nodus dials are so beautiful but their lugs are too long and make the watch ugly
Despite the handicap…. 😂😂😂😂
"It's a shiter!" Get the fike outahere!
Now please remeasure your wrist and make sure its 6 inches.
Will do
