I get it. I talked too much. It's hilarious. Follow the advice down below, and skip to 4:42. I'll make sure you get your money back for the first four minutes and forty seconds.
Seen some bad reviews but honestly its one of the best pedals I've used. If people just plug it in and expect something special to happen then think again. but put an eq before it and its very responsive to the eq which gets some awesome tones. Put a fuzz before the eq to break up the signal and its really awesome. actually makes fuzzes sound good. run it hot and wow. if you set the fuzz tone really low with this pedal, which you should, you get the best scooped spiity tone
I've tried all the expensive little germanium treble/boosters and I bought this little baby. It's good enough and doesn't come with a tax on boutique bullshit in the price.Get one.
The treble boosters used in the 60's 70's etc. used boxes like the Rangemaster. In actual fact they were not just a treble booster as they also boosted the upper mid range as well as the top end. The EH is simply a plain treble booster. The EH will simply not give you that tone.
No, I've never owned a treble booster before. I got this as kind of a curiosity, since so many of my favourite players used one at one time. This one was supposed to be close in sound to the Rangemaster many of my heroes used.
Sounds good. I've been looking for a treble booster for a while. I want to create the sharpness that Jan Akkerman of Focus had. He used a Colorsound treble booster. And this is not too expensive and comes pretty close. You have experience with other treble boosters? Greetings from Holland
Quick dem of EH Sean Kerns talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and noodling, and talking and talking and talking, talking, talking, talking end of demo.
Actually I think it might be a reissue of a pedal EHX made in, I think, the early 70s. It won't sound like a germanium treble booster (like teh Rangemaster).
A rangemaster is a treble booster with a germanium transistor. this one isn't surely? silicon? more like a vintage JHS (silicon) treble booster I imagine?

+Sean Kerns Don't take it personally, people have no patience nowadays!
Quick demo? I was seeing my life flash before my eyes there. I gave up waiting
Jesus Christ dude. Can we hear the pedal sometime?
ALL "treble boosters" boost the upper mids and cut the lows. They also work best on amps that are driving and compressing already.

If you want a little extra cut, I'd use this. If you just want louder and not coloration, it's hard to beat the LPB.

It's weird because Clapton never even used one just a myth.
A quick demo? It's a right trek! More playing / less talking is the future!

Demo the pedal already, God man. Yap yap yap..
Marc Bolan / T Rex often and only used a sole SB into his amp I heard In an interview with Tony Visconti.
6:55 for the pedal
Oh god, when you showed that Les paul on the screen I almost climaxed lmao. I LOOOOVE those.
Homebrew Electronics makes some great ones- germanium, with or without Mullard OC-44s...Greg Fryer/ Pete Cornish, but they're quite pricey!

SEVEN minutes before we hear the pedal?
Good god....

Which is better for an already distorted sound solo boost ? The lpb 1 or this? ?
Depends. This will colour the tone and the other just drives harder
I have a big muff pi fuzz pedal its incredibly bassy. I'm wondering if this would liighten it up to a more solo friendly sound?

Stop talk and just play!!!!!!
Geesh... go to around 4:40 if you want to bypass all the talk! I'm not sure if this guy is in Siberia by the amps or what.
Do these particular amps often indicate Siberian ownership, specifically the 2 Marshall's?
And then at 6:55!!!! Wait Wait Wait, yup! Now what you have all been waiting for.........The Screaming Bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To skip the long speech, please click here --> 4:42
QUICK demo?
7 minutes in still waiting
4:42 seconds of talk talk talk. Just like everybody else. Get on with it man!
Trying to review a pedal - just play
Ugh, all talk. No play man :(
at 6:30 I gave up.
It's funny, because it's true.
Sorry man. I have ADHD couldn't sit still long enough. A for effort though.
please talk more thanks
its a peddle we just wants to hear it rock it
the video actually has more footage of him talking than playing
If there is a competition for the worst pedal demo on UA-cam, this one is a contender for sure.
Ou disgraça faladora. toca logo... desisti de ver
Yes, thank you. Point taken.
Gave up at 5 minutes. Way too much yaking
