@formuna101 i dont understand the question. electronic is one big genre with alot of sub-genres, trance, techno and dubstep (judging by the few last years) are three most popular ones. hardtechno although is a sub-genre of techno and this song, hustler, by marco bailey, is what i would call hardtechno. but then again hardtechno is a very large sub-genre. you can go frome marco bailey to alex markachev to diogo ramos to dj hammond. they all play hardtechno but very different style of hardtechno.
trust me,this is normal 90/00 techno. hardtechno is much more bassoriented than rythm oriented. listen to todays "Petduo" productions, that is hardtechno. boring sound in my opinion

maybe because todays techno has more, pauses in a track, to create atmosfere ... personally i don't like that much. old techno is straight in ya face, rhytm almost never stops,to create a hypnotic effect, so on a party you never stop dancing.... that's the way i like it
