    can anybody tell me the difference in-
    thanks for reminding me.
    thanks to remind me.
    which one of these is correct n why?and how i know where is 'to' should use??i m very confuse with the use of word 'to'.

    • @LearnEnglishwithJessica
      @LearnEnglishwithJessica  8 місяців тому +1

      Certainly! The correct phrase is "thanks for reminding me."
      Here's the difference:
      "Thanks for reminding me" is the proper and more commonly used expression. It acknowledges someone for bringing something to your attention in the past. For example, if someone reminds you of an appointment, you would say, "Thanks for reminding me about the appointment."
      "Thanks to remind me" is not a correct English phrase. The use of "to" in this context is incorrect. Instead, you should use "for" to indicate gratitude in this situation.
      In English, prepositions like "for" and "to" can be a bit tricky. The key is to remember which preposition typically follows certain words or phrases. In this case, when expressing gratitude for someone bringing something to your attention, you use "thanks for."
      So, remember: "Thanks for [verb + ing]..." is the correct structure to express thanks for something someone has done.

      Certainly, we continue to release shorter videos. The longer videos are designed for you to listen passively while you're doing other things. In simpler terms, you can play them in the background, much like listening to a playlist of your favorite songs.

I don't want to start a quarrel here, I only consider that more politeness for our teacher's hard work, time and dedication should be in order.
