Half of this album makes me think of summertime romance and the other makes me think of serial killers
that is way too accurate
It's basically a fucked up love story. They start it off looking back on it with Irresistible, and from there it tells the story of the American Psycho falling in love with the American Beauty. The calmer songs are when he's in love with her, the rougher songs are when he's pissed.

This whole album reminds me of summer... Like the kind of summer spent with a bunch of friends driving to the beach and belting out lyrics and once they got there at night dancing and singing next to a bonfire and talking and roasting marshmallows and laughing. It just seems like one huge movie moment and I LOVE IT!

It's most likely because love songs in general are more likely to be relatable. Also, a lot of emotions that a writer may feel could just be put into a metaphorical relationship situation. That's just what I think though.

This is my favourite song off the album. There’s something so sweetly nostalgic about it. Kinda throws you back to that point in your life when everything was simple or good and even though you know it’s over you can still appreciate the journey of it all. Maybe it ended badly but there’s still this record (haha) of it playing on rewind in your head - like watching the reels back. After all, I think a lot of us can relate to the idea of living in the past... for a person, a place or feeling. We can’t shake it for whatever reason but at least we can still visit sometimes.

Ok people I'm back for a fantasy music video synopsis. If you've seen my previous ones, I've put alot of thought into this one so be ready. If not, I've done this for Twin Skeletons, Jet Pack Blues, and Novocaine to really great reviews.
Favorite Record:
The Music video starts out at a retirement home. The video is in sepia tone and is set in the 1950s. In it the caretakers are sitting the old people down at the tables in the dining hall. the old people are just regular people with great makeup jobs. the head caretaker (played by Gabrielle Union) tells the old people to clap their hands for Fall Out Boy. the band comes on stage all dressed up (remember it's the 50s). and there is faint clapping and the old people look complete out of it.
SONG STARTS
Verse 1: the band is playing and some of the old men are tapping their feet to the beat. the old women are moving side to side and knitting and doing old people stuff. as the music progresses the old people are getting more into the song. one of the old ladies is knitting her heart out a sweater with a heart on it with Pete's name on it. he sees it, nervously. she looks at him and winks.
Chorus 1: Joe sees an older version of himself playing air guitar with his cane and lifting up the caretakers skirt. An old man walks up to one of the older women and puts his dentures in and flashes a toothy, flirty smile. she ignores his advances.
Verse 2: The camera shows Patrick singing and one of the old ladies passes a note to her friend. her friend reads the note that says "Elvis who?". the camera goes back to the flirty denture man and he's still flirting with the old lady. and she's starting to faintly warm up to him. the entire dining hall has completely warmed up to the song and started dancing to the song similar to the back to the future scene at the school dance. Joe's old man doppelganger comes on stage with his cane and imitates him.
Chorus 2: Pete's old lady comes up and puts her sweater on him while he plays. the head caretaker notices denture man and his old lady missing. and she's frantically looking for them. Meanwhile the dance hall breaks into a Footloose/Soul Train type dance line.
Song ends. Andy goes to the bathroom and opens the stall, sees Denture man and the old lady he was flirting with making out. Disgusted, andy runs out.

Just One Yesterday:
The video opens with Joe and Andy as cops. They have Patrick and Foxes (who are covered in blood) in handcuffs as they leave the crime scene, a broken down, creaky wooden house. They are escorted to the police station, given their mugshots and are taken into separate interrogation rooms. The detectives (Pete and actress Lauren London) head into the interrogation rooms: Lauren enters Foxes’s room and Pete enters Patrick’s room.
*Song Starts*
Verse 1: The video alternates between the interrogation rooms. Pete is showing Patrick the crime scene photos and is asking him questions (inaudibly, of course) and Patrick is being trivial by answering by singing the lyrics. Lauren on the other hand is having trouble because Foxes is not answering anything. Just smirking and staying silent.
Chorus: Lauren and Pete return to the crime scene. They are gathering clues and they realize that it’s basically a huge riddle that is very ambiguous.
Verse 2: Pete returns to the interrogation of Patrick. He continues to be trivial by singing the answers. Meanwhile, Lauren is piecing together the information and gaining ground but finds out that Foxes and Patrick have unfinished business. Patrick is still giving Pete the answers and Pete is jotting them down.
Chorus: Pete and Lauren Gather their notes and piece together the puzzle as Patrick is escorted back to his cell. They figure it out and Pete says he will go ahead and meet her at the crime scene. Joe interrupts and says that Foxes is ready to talk. Pete heads to the crime scene. Lauren heads to the interrogation room to meet Foxes. Pete enters the house and heads to the basement. He ransacks the basement looking for something and ends up screaming in frustration because he can’t find it. Then he sees a faint light in a back room. He opens the door and he has a huge smile on his face and enters the room. Fade to white.
Bridge: Lauren asks Foxes what she says. She sings the lyrics as her answer. Lauren immediately realizes the answer and runs out and drives frantically to the crime scene with Andy and Joe right behind her.
Chorus: They reach the crime scene and look throughout the house for Pete. Andy calls out from the basement. Lauren and Joe reach the basement and look in shock at Pete’s body, impaled by an arrow, lying on the floor of a room full of money. The camera zooms in on his back pocket with a stack of money poking out, signifying that he was a crooked cop that was in on the plan with Patrick and Foxes all along.
