Thank you for giving such insight - you made me realise that ‘not now’ energy is hampering me in so many areas of my life, my love life being the least of them. Time for a more proactive, positive, and open attitude.
I thought I was ready until this video. If he was on my doorstep I would freak out because I have bins of stuff in my living room from my move. After 29 years together, my divorce was final in April. I'm still going through all of it. I literally still have my past in my path. It's been here since July. Only in the last month could I bring myself to start going through all of it. I'm healing as I sift through memories and "things" that are holding me back. I'm ready to get through all this and move on!
I was in ‘not now’ energy at least a month ago, until I thought ‘I don’t care’ I will just put myself out there.
I had a few kilos to lose, my business is still in younger days. I chose photos to put on my profile of when I was 10 kgs lighter. I just began to workout at that same time I put on my profile on dating app.
On the 5th day of joining the dating app, I found a man who has the same values as me, we are dating now. Boy it added to my motivation to lose weights. I lost 3.5 kgs in 2 weeks! I gained more confidence now to be around him.
You’re right, why waiting for something to be perfect while you can be in receiving mode while you’re working on yourself and areas of your life. I’m grateful for Matt, no one else explained dating stuffs better than you!
I am in the” Not Now” as I have been trying to recover from the many traumatic experiences of my childhood and dysfunctional family! Plus I am facing major challenges in my career! I don’t have the energy for a man or dating! I just feel like I need to get my career on the right track and the power back into my body first before I can give any of my time and energy to someone else!
I removed the 'not now' mentality and I found him.

There’s something still lingering though as I hesitated. When you asked about the pre-reqs, the thing that came up for me was financial independence. What if I don’t have enough money to create a great relationship? I know that’s a lie but somewhere in my world, I still believe part of that to be true. I also hesitated on the question, what if I am not enough?
What if I don’t have enough. So there’s obviously some scarcity mindset still lingering. In reality, I have way more than enough.
Even though I hesitated, I’d welcome him in with open arms. I would love a friend, lover, confidante, and co-creator to share life with. Thank Mat, very grateful for this perspective. 🙏
not now, I want to lose weight, be financially secure and be in my dream job, before I think Im ready to let love in my life. Great advice to be ready now while you're on the journey

So true/ feel I must be slimmer, more financially abundant more ‘ready’! I know a lot of this is fear and procrastination. Letting my past 31 year controlling relationship frighten me about losing my freedom and agency. It CAN be different and lovely xxxxx

So, I thought I was in the “now” energy but on questioning myself, I realise I have love blocks and I put them there! I’m now getting to work in removing them. This has been an excellent video Matt, who knew!!!! ❤
Wow, thank you so much for sharing this concept! I can really relate to it in the area of friendships. As a kid, I had mild autism and somewhere along the line (maybe in my 20's) I started to believe that nobody would ever be my friend until I grew healthier emotionally, socially, mentally, etc. So I have been giving off a 'not now' energy for 15 + years. This is so eye-opening and thought-provoking! Even though I have accomplished my goals of improving/healing myself to function more normally and my autism is pretty much undetectable, I still have no friends. I will use some self-reflection with this concept and assess if I may still be putting out that energy at times. I appreciate this powerful video! 🙏

This was great. I am on a dating site or 2. I put myself out there. But I believe I am in the "not now" mindset. My house isn't in order. And I too feel like I am not physically fit enough. I have met and talked to several guys. The ones that I always am drawn to seem like they are " not now" also. Very interesting.

I guess I have to say I'm living in the now.. I am in a relationship, but I am continuing to work on my own personal growth. He IS helping me in that area. He listens to me without any judgement. Don't put off finding the right guy. Work on your goals together.

I never expected something so spiritual to come about in this channel… I am definitely in the now energy though I feel sometimes the sadness of having lost what I worked so hard to build interferes with it… because I don’t know how to stop missing him or wishing things were different, or wondering if I’ll ever feel that way about someone else. And I try to catch myself in these moments and talk myself through it so I can get back to knowing the right person is just around the corner for me❤

I was in a ready state to welcome my soulmate but then the wrong man wasted my time again and convinced me that I wasn't ready but he was the one who actually wasn't ready for a relationship so now I have to rebuild my confidence again
Matt, your energy comes from such a warm, vibrant place as well as your advice which is unbelievably sensible, so I thank you for that. However, being in the NOW sounds simple but is actually quite difficult to truly mean it deep down. Since my divorce two years ago, I am happier, look and feel better, younger and more positive in every way but after so many years of having my self-esteem ground away at on a daily basis there is still this little voice that whispers that I've left it too late.
It's never too late Stephanie. Replace that voice with a louder thank goodness I didn't waste any more time... if I'm not for you, you are not for me. You have people in your life that love you for who you are. Know that and know yourself. You are worth and deserve a person who truly loves you as you are.
Mine is “I need to be healthier”… and “my hair needs to be longer” after it fell out after the operation I had… and I’m in “not now” energy because of this, despite actively searching for love 🤦🏻♀️

Good evening: This video really got my attention. Cuz I was so interesting on know what " Love Blocks "...!! That question was odd..!! You brought up some great points. I'm very ready. My love block is I never go out. I have a business but I'm so extremely focused on that I blocked guys for a while to focus on my goals. I mean like years. I just gotta get out alot more..!!

This is interesting. Recently, I was battling my ex in court to relocate with my kids to another state. I was trying to date, while half thinking that if the relocation went through, there would be no point. I wasn't successful dating at all. However, I got the relocation, and after a week, I met a man and we've been dating for the past 2 months! This makes me think I had the 'not now' energy until after the move.
I believe I'm ready now. In the past I thought that I needed to lose weight before I could be with my dream partner, but then I saw a video with a super obese woman who was married to a superfit guy and they loved each other so much and were so adorable. So this made me change my mind. And luckily I'm not obese. Last time I checked I was 2 pounds overweight, so I might even be normal weight now.
I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need to have healed all my wounds from my childhood in order for my dream partner to appear. This video helped me with this. I can heal and work on myself with him by my side encouraging and supporting me. Maybe it will even make it easier? 😊

I relate! I always thought I had just to lose weight and then I'd attract love, but one day I met a man I really fell into. So, I was like 'I'm gonna keep improving myself with him. Now!' He wasn't interested tho lol. So I'm still on my track on my own. I got over him and now I feel even more motivated and happy. So I'm glad I met him:)

Yup. I am overwhelming ready NOW for the next Love of My Life to come into my life. And if, this week, he knocks on the door of my lovely house, and comes in to find it as it is this morning --- with no furniture downstairs and the wood floors pulled up due to water mitigation-required-due-to-a-kitchen-pipe link? Well, we will, I believe, share a very hearty laugh over the NOW, that no time is "the perfect time" where each of our lives will be "perfect" by some mythological measure of "rightness" or "perfect timing." NOW is the perfect timing for true love. NOW is the perfect timing for loving, laughing, living and walking into our senior sunets together. Yes, we seniors often have been more than a bit battered, and thus we are weathered --- so obviously less than shiny-perfect. But we bring so much to our feasting tables in the last third of our lives. Lucky and blessed indeed is the Cinderfeller man who is destined to share my remarkable and dear loved ones and vocation and avocations and vacations --- and the awe that today is a brand new day and we get to share its triumphs and trials. Together. Today. Now. GREENLIGHT. :)

I have everything in place except I live in a trailer home that I happened to inherit. It has really helped me get debt free and have time to be an artist but….I am absolutely terrified of being judged by the man I met online who wants to love me. So I have one block to let go of.
The right guy won’t judge you. I also live in a trailer home, no thanks to a narcissist ex husband who has had all of our marital assets for the last 7 years. I did however meet an amazing guy a few months ago, and he loves my trailer home. You are the asset, the trailer is just where you currently live. 😊
