After scoring, when he jumps and points his fingers to the ground, he usually says: "Eu estou aqui!" (I'm here!). It's his way to remember people he is there to score and help the team.
You're the first person from who i watch a reaction video and does her homework, explaining and giving opinion... how entertaining (even from an huge soccer fan point of view) congrats and keep up!!
Most of his long shots are knuckle ball. Similar to his free kicks
U smiling at him, reminded me how I used to smile while watching Cristiano, he's amazing! ❤️

Ronaldo is known for the knuckleball action on the ball when he executes a free-kick. The nickname given to him whenever he scores a non free-kick blast from distance is “Rocket Ronaldo” 🙂⚽️👍🏼
its not only his freekicks that are taken using the knuckleball technique, sometimes even during open play, he uses that technique. but as he's getting older he has largely decreased using the knuckleball because it takes too much power to get it right.
Being a football fan for as long as I remember, I'm gonna' try and solve some of the doubts you had during the video. You might already know some of them, but it's the first time I've seen your channel and I don't know which level of "football knowledge" do you have, so I'll apologize beforehand for it:
03:01 "Knuckleball kick" refers to a certain technique that makes the ball move unpredictably after being hit, making it a nightmare for goalkeepers. Being just that, a technique, it doesn't matter if Ronaldo applies it to a ball in motion or a direct free kick: it'll still be called a "knuckleball". That also means that it's not exclusive to Ronaldo, as there are many other players specialized in that kind of kicks.
03:39 I know that this is not a doubt, but no-look passes or strikes are actually somewhat common in more sports than just football. That doesn't make them less amazing: I saw that goal live and I freaked out as much as you. And, by the way: in Spain, which is where I'm from, we usually say "tener ojos en la nuca" ("to have got eyes in the back of the neck"), which basically means that someone is really watchful, so it's not just our parents who use it (I do use it myself).
05:37 It's not only force, but technique and precision. You might already know it, but brute strength is not always a plus when throwing a ball with your hands or feet: it's more important to know how to direct the force from the different parts of your body towards the ball (in football, specially from the hip). That actually makes a big difference, even if you don't have that much muscle.
06:02 Yes, it's THAT game against Manchester United. February 13th 2013, UEFA Champions League Round of 16, 1st leg. It ended 1-1, leaving it all for the 2nd leg at Old Trafford (which we won 1-2).
09:06 When footballers celebrate goals pointing at or touching their ears, it's usually because they're under heavy criticism or even the whole stadium is against them. In that particular case, he was playing for the away team, so the home fans were cheering against him.
09:44 I don't know if you're refering to this, but Ronaldo's dribbling specializes in the step-over move. He protects the ball moving alternately both of his feet in front of him, while also confusing the defender, who tries to predict his next move.
10:20 I suppose you omitted this because you already know it, but "Sí" means "Yes" in Spanish. You explained the story behind it pretty well, though.
14:53 I think it's better to view the bicycle/scissor kick technique as a type of overhead kick. All bicycle/scissor kicks are pretty much overhead kicks, but not all overhead kicks are bicycle/scissor kicks. Now, regarding the definitions you searched, I'd say the second website is more accurate. I usually define an "overhead kick" as what the name suggests, "a kicking technique in which the foot and/or the ball reach or surpass the height of the head", whereas a "bicycle kick" or "scissor kick" is "a kicking technique in which the foot that strikes the ball changes position mid-air with the free foot with a scissor-like move", hence the name.
16:48 Firstly, it might be poetic to think that, because of being applauded for that goal, Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus, but I really disagree with that. Transfers in football are different than in other sports, like basketball, in which the receiving club just needs to better the salary of the player and receive his OK to swap clubs. In football, clubs have to "buy" players for a certain price that they negotiate with their parent club; nevertheless, if the player requests his transfer, then his club has to ease up the negotiations to let him go. In the case of Ronaldo, it was a macro-operation with an incredible price of €117 million ($137M), one of the biggest in history. If it were a symbolic transfer, it would have been for free or with a price much lower than that. Secondly, reching the same height as the header versus Manchester United is just a coincidence, it's actually not that important. And, lastly, I think it's a scissor kick.
18:19 This is not a doubt, I just wanted to comment that I'm Spanish and that I really suffered for that goal. We were 2-3 up, it was near the 90th minute and, when I saw that Ronaldo was going to take it, I got cocky and said to my friends: "That ball is gonna' end up out of the stadium". Feel free to call me a jinx.
20:56 He scored that goal against UC Sampdoria (pronounced in English as "sam-DOH-ria"). Just wanted to clear that up.
23:09 In the footballing world, we usually say that "the best attackers always know where the goal is", which means that they don't need to look at the goal to know where they are located in relation to it and always know how do they need to strike the ball to score. It's precisely that "predator instict", to give it a name, what defines a true goal poacher and Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the best in history.
Well, that's it. Hope I've cleared some doubts off your head and helped you understand the sport better. Your reactions were pretty good, too, and I like that interest in searching facts and data to help you understand what was going on or how big are the things that you reacted to. You've got a new subscriber in me!
Actually, the bicycle kick definition was wrong in the video, they said that you need to strike the ball with the other foot than the one you jump with, and it's the complete opposite, on the other hand, the definition YOU have, was 100% correct
Btw, amazing analysis, too few mistakes to mention, congratulations on your patience writing all this, hopefully they saw this and got even more informed
18:19 Im from same island of Ronaldo and we was neighbors in Santo Antonio with a diffrence of 4 years between us, and as Portuguese I must say you just were lucky in that game, your Diego Costa is very faulty player literally in every club he passed (just look on youtube hes attitude) and had lucky to score because of that, otherwise Ronaldo alone deal with the whole spanish team Xavi and Iniesta couldnt save you and Portugal was very weak team at that time without maturity and in need of Ronaldo's carry. Last time I seen spain doing something was with David Villa a very good forward player and very unperdictable. maybe good times will come to spain considering the amount of new young and very good players you have like Pedri and Ferran Torres.
Knuckle ball is when you kick the ball and the ball doesn’t curve during the time in the air, instead, it knuckles.
He proved that age is just a number😊
Girl wearing black is so cute.
No the other is much cute ❤😘
Probably the only reason she is there, clearly doesn't know anything about football

I mean how can someone compare the speed of a supercar to a human..now many would say ...he isn't a human blah blah...but really? A Bugatti can't topple the speed of 36km/hr? Back and forth? That's a publicity scripted stunt.

The scorpion kick, also known as a reverse bicycle kick or back hammer kick, is a physical move in association football. It is achieved by diving or throwing the body forwards, placing the hands in the ground to lunge the back heels in front so as to kick an incoming football.[1] Sports historian Andreas Campomar praises the maneuver as remarkable, noting that it "demonstrated that the spectacle had not died: that the game, in spite of its many flaws, could provide moments of glory that had little to do with just victory or defeat."[2]
The move gets its name from the player's resemblance to a scorpion's tail while performing the kick.
Colombian goalkeeper René Higuita is attributed with the invention of this skill.[3] One of his best known performances of the maneuver occurred at Wembley Stadium during a 1995 international friendly match between Colombia and England.[4]
On top of the regular diving scorpion kick, there are also other variations such as standing scorpion kick[5] and spinning scorpion kick, neither of which necessarily result in the hands being placed on the ground.[6] Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimović is a notable exponent for the standing scorpion kick,[7] while the Italian defender Giuseppe Biava is a notable exponent for the spinning scorpion kick.[6]

15:03 That was a scissor kick
16:55 is an overhead/bicycle kick. The Juventus fans applauded him for that goal which played a big part in him signing for them.
He is a complete player and complete humenbeing and inspiration to all of us .. he is now 35 .. still going stronggg...

Amazing video, first time here.
The heel kick is most often performed in a spinning motion but can be performed with the lead leg, in a turning motion, a sliding motion, a step behind motion, etc.
9:08 Ronaldo did that because the opponent teams fans were chanting " Messi "

Good video.. Thanks!
"what is he doing"(9.12) He is trying to say that i can't hear you now to the crowd becouse before the match begeins the crowd chant Messi's name loudly disrespecting Ronaldo
his 'knuckleball' is a type of shot that moves and deviates in the air because of the way Cristiano strikes it. Now with that being said, Ronaldo has scored plenty of free kicks and in game shots that have 'knuckled' in the air (moved), so its not only limited to taking free kicks. Also tell the girl on the right to holla at me. good vid

His freekicks have declined but rarely when he does, its actually another level. That shot would be different from others. Like WC freekick 2018.

Hands down, you should be the best soccer reviewer for taking the time out of your day to research. I’ve been watching soccer videos since 2010 - 75% mostly on CR7 and not one up until now has done what you’ve done ! Lots of praise homegirl 👏👏👏👏
Yes, you can hit a knuckleball even if when the ball is moving. Because he is strong, so he always hit knuckleball so the ball confuses the goalkeeper.
Fun fact: it is easier to hit a knuckleball when the ball is moving
lol that gesture he does with his hand has nothing wrong, it's because his 2nd favorite sport is ping-pong
Lmao yeah “ping-pong” 😂😂
@@meme_debate1445 It's not his 2nd favorite sport, he doesn't have a 2nd one, but the ping-pong story is 100% true story. One time, during his free-time, he kept losing at ping-pong to one of his mates; the next day he asked his brother to buy a ping-pong table and trained like crazy for days to win the next time and rub it on (so he did), this can be a reference which I'm not sure it is.
Great enthusiasm and i really liked the excitement.
Keep growing, best wishes.
I love ur vids and I'm new
Knuckle balls is a way of kicking the ball, Ronaldo "invented". THe ball has a weird way of floating in the air because the way he hits it.
He invented that? Come on!!!
I know players that did that way before Cr7 had his first goal.

😁😄
Vincent Constant Ronaldo invented his own technique of using the knuckleball.
