Also, there’s this book called “Having a heart like Mary in a Martha world.” that I think Julia would be interested in reading.. It’s a Christian book that is about how to stay present in the moment and in Christ while living in a busy life. ❤️

There’s Reynolds crock pot bags you can use. Line the crock pot and cook. Easy clean up afterwards. May not look that great but for a SB party, it works. Great party, love Booker❤️!

Guys always feel the need to be grill masters but I loved when Julia took the grill master role in TX and would sit on her back patio step as she fired up that little charcoal grill just to cook vegetables and fish for a dinner. So this grill talk was like deja vu for me 😂 Hunter isn’t into the grill and Julia accepts that but tries to nudge him. Im with Julia and love the flavor a grill gives to anything. Im pretty sure Hunter delayed getting a grill then for a reason 😆

Im in Canada and we love our Traeger! We smoke ground beef and it’s game changing. My hubby also smokes cheese. But I agree with hunter it takes time, you can’t just throw it on to melt cheese and expect smoke flavour. Have to leave things on their for longer to develop that smoke flavour. But try the queso again sometime and smoke your ground beef first then add the whole dish into the smoker and smoke for a while 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I make queso dip as well for gatherings and I use the crockpot liners for a wayyyyy easier clean up!! And I also add pico de gallo and a block of cream cheese… soooo yummy!!! I will have to try it with the sausage because that sounds amazing!

About the crockpot.. you can buy the plastic crockpot liners that are SO handy when you are making queso or anything that’s hard to clean. All you have to do is take it out and throw it in the trash! No clean up 😘🤏🏼
Smoked queso would be so good! I’m making it! My husband makes smoked Mac and cheese. He completed prepares it inside then puts in a foil pan and put in the smoker for like 30 min. Yum
