America is a settler's country. Their situation is not congruent to ours. Before the political borders of India was established, bengal existed as did its language and peoples.
@Ranma Saotome The context here is the diverse cosmopolitan and multi ethnicities of a society.
Did our state gain from multi ethnicities ? Did these people come and settled here in an organic manner or in an inorganic manner . Except for people from Bangladesh, all others have settled in an organic manner. If I have the power to lead the society, then I will use every resource in optimum and at right place. I will not and never ever weaken my state by inducing hatred amongst everyone towards every other community. Imagine the power of unity and good leadership. Now imagine the weakness due to extreme hatred and fear towards each other. People will then say there should be separate bus, train, flight for my community just as now Halal food, Halal flights and so many. Unfortunately, the group Bangla pokkho has lost out in its track of reviving the welfare of West Bengal and its multi multi ethnicities and people rather , most of the time, we see them protesting against every thing of people from Bihar, UP, Rajasthan. It has become a specific surgical agenda in the name of OUR BENGAL.

@Ranma Saotome Let me try to share my thoughts of united powerful Bengal from my idol Purnendu Chatterjee, Founder and Chairman of TCG Group. He has recently appointed B.Anand as ceo of Haldia Petrochemical. PC sir is a Bengali settled in the USA and has diverse businesses in many countries, including Islamic countries. He employs Bengali, Non Bengali, American, European, Africans, Chinese, and many , from various ethnic cultures. He puts them in the right place . He does not say, " Bangla only Bangla. He does not say" send email in Bangla only." He runs TCG with the united power of people, giving them a neutral platform. This is my idol and visualization of our Bengal and for people. What we need is the leadership who can imagine more than the business of Chop and muri. Let us evolve . Use Every one in the right place in an optimum manner. Improve our education to better than Chinese and use skills training from the Netherlands. Imagine our Lepcha ethnic girl doing Transliration for French doctor or exporting knowledge.
My examples need improvement.
