School does not teach the story's of the brave and the true, but sabaton does and always will.
You said it!
I kind of agree with you, but it depends on school, and country because for example in Poland i was thought about the 303rd, and even my block of flat is named after this division.

@@Funkiemonkie that's sad... School is often boring, but I think that most interesting class is history because you can discover many things that are forgotten, and very fascinating.

@@HighFlyer6969 Americans were not officially invoved inn Battle of Britain but there were individual Americans who went to volunteer, kind of mercaneries, the same as those who went to fight in China against the Japanese before USA was officially at war with Japan. Russians are scary even in the supermarket line. Shaven heads with dents in them, scars etc, make an impression. 3:04 he commited a war crime. Love the vid
@Dalphator He destroyed the parachute and possibly killed him.
@Dalphator I think you just lost
@Dalphator its a war crime as he is an airman witha plane their for hes not considered a combatant unlike paratroopers whos are combatants and their fore can be shot at.
Personaly i dont think war crime is a right word for it as the pilot didnt shoot at the guy in the parachute. Tho the Hurricane pilot (most likely) was planning on shooting he decided not to and flew past the guy with a parachute (and no the wing of the Hurricane did not rip the parachute) however this, due to airflow or something (i dont know im not a science guy), the parachute basically was flying all over the place (or atleast thats the best way to explain it in text) and caused the German to essentially free fall. Personaly i think it was more of an accident as in the end the Hurricane pilot didnt mean to kill the German in the parachute.

While celebrating the bravery, skill and success of Polish "Kościuszko" 303 sqd, the top scoring RAF squadron of the battle of Britain, also remember the other nationalities who flew as part of the squadron during the battle and who contributed SO much to its success.
Polish "Kościuszko" 303 Sqd total kill tally - 58.5 confirmed kills
Squadron commander, Sqd Ldr Ronald Gustave Kellett (British) - 5 confirmed kills
"A" Flight commander, Fl Lt John Alexander Kent (Canadian) - 6 confirmed kills
"B" Flight commander, Fl Lt Athol Stanhope Forbes (British) - 7 confirmed kills.
Sgt pilot Josef František (Czechoslovakian) - 17 confirmed Kills.
We in the UK remember ALL the pilots (and NOT just the Polish ones).
@@walterkronkitesleftshoe6684 We Poles also remember those other pilots as well. There were also American pilots and crews who fought in WW2 like D-Day. Some lost their life like my husband's uncle of Polish descent American.
I want to mention that John Alexander Kent ( Canadian) was very supportive of the Polish pilots who had to learn the English language. The majority of them besides of own language spoke French or German.
Yes I agree it does teach quite some history. This probably taught me more than I would have learned in a month in the Western Front 1940 would be full of clashes between the Exiled Polish and Czechoslovak aces defending Britain alongside the RAF against the Luftwaffe
