Since they aren't biologically brothers a lot of the fandom likes to ship them together. I don't really dislike or like the ship myself tbh but that's how some of the other fans see it.
Yes, Loki IS adopted but.. what is really the difference? They ARE and WILL always be eachothers brother, they only don't have the same blood line. Brothers is a really strong friendship, not just friendship but more. not just blood.
