Every scene of this movie, even the painful ones, is shot so beautifully. So much thought put into every scene. The actors and actresses doing such an incredible job that you almost forget they’re acting. Even though it isn’t explicitly stated, and I’m sure I’m not the first to think this, or maybe it’s so obvious that I sound stupid for pointing it out, but it seems like Paolo came out of hiding, knowingly risking his life, to at least watch his father’s funeral from a distance since he couldn’t be at his mother and brother’s side. Don Ciccio perhaps predicted this and had his men stationed in that area so they could kill Paolo as soon as they saw him. Or maybe the men were just combing through the area and happened to spot Paolo. The idea of Paolo, still just a kid himself, just trying to be present at his father’s funeral and getting killed is such a tragedy, within a larger tragedy, which would only lead to more tragedies in the future.
Vito didn't kill the Don just for the death of his brother, the don admitted that he would have tried to kill Vito simply because he would have sworn revenge for the death of his father.
Oh its called Ah!Si versate lacrime or lagrime. Its an early Italian Funeral Church song. The title means "You shed tears". You can search UA-cam for it. You will have to look around half way through the track to hear this part, and the band isn't exactly the Italian Symphony Orchestra. The same as at Michael's wedding right? @@pancakeelpancakeman7602 Shameer Ahmed fuck you man ive been looking for the name of this song for many years and cant find the info anywhere. the song listed in the info is not the song, its the clip from the movie followed by different song. that was not a troll, go fuck yourself.
@@Heero070 thanks unfortunately that is not it. The video you posted is of a song that samples the movie clip not the original song. You can tell because the movie is much older than the song you posted.
I've been looking for this actual piece of music for a long time I think it's something local when they filmed it they just picked up a local people as far as what you find using Google Spanish rap band
+wimbledon44 Paolo was killed, he was lurking in the hills. he knew he couldnt go close but he did not want to dishonor his father so he tried to watch from a distance but Don Ciccio's men were there waiting for him to do just that.
This band should have gone on tour with the Portsmouth Sinfonia Band back in the day. Man, they would have killed people. The Rolling Stones got it wrong when they said of themselves they were the "Greatest Rock 'n Roll Band". Nope, these guys and Portsmouth Sinfonia were the "Greatest". Hands down. All hail the intrepid idiots!
It's a masterpiece right from the begining.
It's a traditional Sicilian funeral song. I don't know the full name. I believe the word "tears" is in it. Best I got.
Ive been looking for the song forever lol
