Four years ago. Four full years ago did I go to Cambodia, only for a short while. I still am in love with the country, and its people. Cambodia will always have a special place in my heart. I cannot think of such a few amount of days that were so important in my life's emotional development.
This to me, from what I'm reading in the comments, is a New Year Celebration in Cambodia. My question is the song about a new couple courting each other? Also, are the Celebrations more fun in the cities or provinces? I'm now thinking to visit Cambodia this coming May and the next New Year's Thank you

Those stars shaped lanterns. We call it PAROL in the Philippines and we use it during Christmas. It also symbolizes the victory of light over darkness in Filipino culture. I wonder how the Buddhist Khmers use this because lots of our cultures are quite similar.
