Hey guys, in this video I found a solution to the Uplay/Ubisoft activation code problem on steam. Although I had several hours on the game Rainbow Six Siege steam wanted me to input an activation code. I didn't know how to find the Ubisoft activation code, but I eventually found a solution. So i hope I fixed your problem with the game and you can go back to playing Rainbow, or any other game!

This still works in 2023!
A few people are still having issues with this even after following the video, Please ensure that
1. You are using task manager to close out of anything Ubisoft-related, including the games.
2. Then verifying the game files after.
Btw whenever I verify it it says do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device and it says yes or no Wichita one do I click and it says do you want uninstall battle services for this idk what to do and this won’t work I tried it at least 5 times

I just recently bought the game again on a different Uplay account. Well when I switch back to my main account it does this everytime. Anyway for me to permanently fix it so I can switch accounts whenever I want with no issues?

Still says "Unable to authenticate" blah blah, been trying to fix this for a long time now. It's currently an actual open case with Ubisoft support and they're only leading me to dead ends. Had hopes for this one, but oh well. Just feel like my money and time has been taken with this random "error." Miss this game.
Make sure it's the actual game. Steam for some reason downloads the test server. Make sure it's the game and it doesn't say test server at the end

@@sharequsman596 when you buy it, it gives you both. Go to your library and click on the game page. Then look at the long list of games on the left. The real game is gonna be on top of the test knew

@@colinbond7437 i saw this just now but to fix it you have to link ur uplay and epic acc (if u got if off epic) click libary in epic launcher under r6 press link i think thats what it says:)

Was probably linked on a separate account. Ubisoft is fucking retarded because atm all my assassins creed games, far cry, and rayman are all perma locked to a deleted ubisoft account. Hoping steam can help me out since ubisoft is saying that even though I can prove ownership of the game that they can’t do anything for me
