In the early 1970's, our tiny Rural School, went to a City School, (To experience Asian-English Culture.) To welcome and help integration of the First Generation Hindu's, to Leicester, UK.) I learnt the Red Dot was a 'Bindi'. The Girls tried on 'Sarees', and the Boys Turbans. To this day, I love Indian Culture and Cuisine. Well done the Local Authority for helping these Asians, fleeing Idi Amin in Uganda, to settle in the UK, and become part of our Community. I was one of those Kids, who made good Friends with the Asian Kids. Maybe modern day Migration might learn something by doing this again ! Love the Jewel like work of the Poured Paint with that Gold luster. Just like Saree Material...🤗
