I was waiting for this one! I picked up the Burner Pearl a couple weeks ago. The price to performance ratio on that ball is just wild. Feel like I got the baby Zen in the Burner Pearl. Good lookin ball too.
My favorite burn balls are the frantic and tropical heat. When the lanes are super fried in the heads and I need to hook the entire lane those 2 balls are my go to.
Can’t wait have my burner waiting all drilled up at my pro shop to match my zen layout. Really did not have a dry lane ball and this ball looked sexy and stats looked like a good bang for buck!
I always use the biggest ball I have because THATS BOWLING BABY! I actually don't see dry lanes often enough though. I'll probably use an older ball polished up if it ever comes up.
When I'm late into a block and I don't feel comfortable moving even further left anymore, I bring out my Hustle RAP. Ball is exceptionally clean through the fronts but still has a decent amount of pop down lane. I love that ball it's always in my bag whether it's my sport shot league or tournament. One of Roto Grips most underrated pieces in my opinion.
When the lanes break down, or if I'd bowl on a light shot, no doubt the IQ Emerald is the first go-to. I've got a lot of games on it, so it tamps down the reaction and prevents it from being too strong. I've also got an Intel Pearl which, though I need to get it re-fitted, is super duper long and always worked well for me when I went to it. Haven't used it much though due to how long it is.
for dry lanes, i like to throw the fatal venom or the desert tank. As long as i can a tiny bit of oil, they can get down lane and hook in and not overreact or roll out early.
Real Wood, old, poorly maintained (oil league Tuesday, none until the next Tuesday). I bowl on weekends and the lane grabs before midlane and it's direct to the 7 pin. So you say the Venom balls might be a fix for me?
I use my radical squatch mostly but recently picked up the hustle wine so im learning that ball and loving it so far. Only thing that bothers me a little is that I cant tell what the ball is doing rotation wise down lane lol
Would you say the hustle wine would be a good replacement for the radical squatch? Im looking for a replacement for my squatch and I’ve been looking at the hustle wine
My favourite ball on burnt up conditions. The usual. Brunswick Grey. Cause after the burn. It’s ashes. And ashes are Grey. Nah j/k I was referring to Brunswick Lazer which was Grey in colour. But anyway from the review. Zen master looks good.
Ebonite Affinity was my go to on the burn, but cover is losing its reaction and everything I've tried to replace it with just doesn't quite have the right look. Burner #'s look quite close, just may have to go for the pearl...
Exactly what I was looking for... get in my bag 🙂 going to order today. When do they hit? Need the damn things by Tues league, will be sweet there for sure.
I'm a 2 hander with slower speed. My house always has light oil and I struggle to carry the ball unless I muscle it. Fried my forearm last week trying to overthrow it. I need something easier to throw
I bowl where the lanes dry-light oil I'm thinking about getting the Burner Pearl. I have the Wolverine and the Zen Master would the Burner Pearl or Hustle Camo be a better fit?
Dry? How about REAL wood, only oiled pre-league on Tuesday and neglected until the next Tuesday? The weekends (when I bowl) are insane! Scorched-Bone Dry-Fried-, etc. Hook starts pre midlane, direct to 7 pin. What do you suggest? (Besides spending the gas money to bowl somewhere else?)
Hi, I'm a viewer from Asia. From where I am, I bowl on wood lanes traditionally and they can get really dry at times. As a result, my main go-to is my trusty old Hyroad pin down. However, it has started to crack as of late. Hence, I'm thinking of a ball to replace it with when the time comes. Is the Burner Pearl pin down a good replacement?
Jungo. Question. I have currently a bonus solid, RST1, honey badger revival. I have a slow 14mph ball speed. For plenth of traffic on broke down lanes would you suggest and mid price with a weak drilling or a burner pearl? I like both radical and 900 global balls. Thanks in advance.
I throw a Votality as my out the bag ball for league and was looking into the burner solid as a step down ball. Do you think that would be good or the pearl? 2 handed high rev high speed
@@jrproshop honestly the Votality is probably to much. Got a black ops to throw now and looking into burner pearl or a hustle pearl as a step down. Which would you recommend of those 2?
Newbie here: I don't understand how the Zen worked on a dry lane. The pearl skids it down the lane but it should have shot left. Since the Zen worked, why wouldn't you keep using the Zen over the Burner? Conversely, how is the Burner considered weak if it's hooking as much as the Zen? Same for the Hustle review vs Idol. I need balls for transition and burn. It's very confusing and I don't want to waste my money.
Luke Rosdahl just put out videos explaining cover types and formulas that might help you understand the difference a little better, you should check his channel out.
I’m also curious. I switched to two handed recently and switched centers. The new center is definitely a shorter and lighter volume pattern. I would say similar to easy street in the vid. My Hustle PBR is too much by game 3 with a normal release. I can flatten my hand but it starts to hook even earlier and usually has more deflection through the pins. I was originally planning on getting both burners and drilling them pin down. Secondly I was considering getting something like a Twist…however now I feel like I should take my Phaze 2 and idol out and give those a shot.
Great question. The zen doesn't go really hard left because of the big core. The big core makes it hook a bit earlier and smoother. The burner core on the other hand is small and therefore makes the hook much later and sharper. It's not really about amount of boards hooked just the shape of the hook.
Reactive balls should be rejuvenated/Detoxed every 80-100 games. This will keep the pores of the coverstock clean and bring back some of that original ball reaction
is it possible to have your ball reviews that have ball comparisons played side by side using light oil patterns and heavier oil patterns? the untrained eye can't really see the phases at a lower viewing angle.
How is it even fun when you get a strike every time!😂? That's like hitting a home run every time, scoring a touchdown every time, getting a royal flush every time. Without difficulty and rarity what's the point?
I was waiting for this one! I picked up the Burner Pearl a couple weeks ago. The price to performance ratio on that ball is just wild. Feel like I got the baby Zen in the Burner Pearl. Good lookin ball too.
Purple Hammer is definitely my favorite ball to use on burnt up patterns and dryer conditions.
Burner looks good I don't own any of these balls but I do like to watch dari a pajak throw the Zen master. She is awesome 900 makes great products
Burner solid. Been throwing it for about a month at the high friction house I bowl at. Loving it so far. May get the pearl.
Burner Solid all day! It’s my first reactive ball and I practice on dry and burnt up house shot lanes. Working well for me, plenty of hook in it.
Just wanna say yalls videos are very satisfying to watch. Very much appreciate the reviews and love watching those pins splash.
My favorite burn balls are the frantic and tropical heat. When the lanes are super fried in the heads and I need to hook the entire lane those 2 balls are my go to.

On my local dry lanes, I throw a polished Squatch pearl and it works great.
My go-to ball was the OLD Brunswick Slingshot. Looking for a new ball to replace it and the Burner is looking good.
My Proof Pearl has been pretty solid for me on the burn...may add a Latitude pearl as step down in the future.
I always use the biggest ball I have because THATS BOWLING BABY! I actually don't see dry lanes often enough though. I'll probably use an older ball polished up if it ever comes up.

Hustles are supposed to be weak but they don't look like they are. My son (2-hander) has trouble keeping it on the lane on fresh.

for dry or burnt up patters, I use my pin down hustle AU or my ole’ reliable IQ tour
I'm really interested in the IQ Tour but feared it would be too strong. I assume you're talking about the solid not the pearl?
I loved the Roto Grip Deranged, until It cracked on me a few years ago. Wish I could find a replacement for it.
for dry lanes, i like to throw the fatal venom or the desert tank. As long as i can a tiny bit of oil, they can get down lane and hook in and not overreact or roll out early.

that burner pearl is gonna be a good ball to ball down to from the zen
Lane Masters' Tempest series
Pancake block, Pearl reactive. It will definitely keep you out of the Ditch.

Pin Down drilled weak Absolute Nirvana by Brunswick at 3000, great reaction also a 1987 Ebonite Fire BOLT II sanded down to max fuzz status
4:30 that 10 pin said nah
Hahahaha I was waiting for a comment from Jungo
Since I have no revs or tilt, hyroad pearl
For dry lanes I use my motive trident nemesis or seismic blackout.
My favourite ball on burnt up conditions. The usual. Brunswick Grey. Cause after the burn. It’s ashes. And ashes are Grey. Nah j/k I was referring to Brunswick Lazer which was Grey in colour. But anyway from the review. Zen master looks good.
My favorite ball for dry lanes is a Soniq that I have drilled with the pin on my pap
Just recently purchased the Burner Pearl... hooks a lot more than I expected... but I like it a lot...
Mine isn’t hooking at all. Weird
Ebonite Affinity was my go to on the burn, but cover is losing its reaction and everything I've tried to replace it with just doesn't quite have the right look. Burner #'s look quite close, just may have to go for the pearl...

That ball is good, but the rst-x2 is Craaazy! that'll do, that'll play!
My favorite was the heat lava, but it cracked unfortunately, now is my !Q emerald
The burner solid is a much stronger ball than I expected. I am rev dominant and nothing works well on dryer lanes.
Zen is a killer ball for dryer lanes
I'm a 2 hander with slower speed. My house always has light oil and I struggle to carry the ball unless I muscle it. Fried my forearm last week trying to overthrow it. I need something easier to throw
My burn ball is a hustle ink or matchup brb. After the last vid I purchased a hustle wine.
Really good review!
My go to light oil ball is my short pin eruption pro
which one would you rather have burner's or hustle's in yuour lineup?
I have the 900 Global Afterdark Pearl for dry lanes
When the lanes start drying I have been going to the Heat Lava.
I own a Hustle USA. do you believe the Hustle Camo would be a good 'ball down' to it?
I bowl where the lanes dry-light oil
I'm thinking about getting the Burner Pearl. I have the Wolverine and the Zen Master would the Burner Pearl or Hustle Camo be a better fit?
Storm Ride, now Hyroad pearl

Roto grip daredevil on dry lanes for me
Hi, I'm a viewer from Asia.
They still make Hy-Roads, why not just get another one?
What Justin said. But if you want a new toy, something fresh. Hustle wine would be closer to the hyroad I think
Cool video talk to tech bowling ball 900 burner soild with dot technology dynamic core in the bowling ball
I'm using my purple urethane on dry condition.
How do these compare to the hyped or hustle lines?
Very similar

I throw a Votality as my out the bag ball for league and was looking into the burner solid as a step down ball. Do you think that would be good or the pearl? 2 handed high rev high speed
Hmm volatility is a big hooking ball. Maybe something like the ordinance C4 would be better
@@jrproshop honestly the Votality is probably to much. Got a black ops to throw now and looking into burner pearl or a hustle pearl as a step down. Which would you recommend of those 2?
Was Idol Pearl, now hyraod pearl. Will probably be burner pearl
When comparing the burner/g900 to RG is this ball more hustle Or Hyped????
Hyped!!
How do these look on a house shot at beginning of league, and in the third game?
A little sharp for my liking

How strong are the two burner?

Hmm
My green and white ebonite solid
How often should you rejuvenate your bowling balls
Reactive balls should be rejuvenated/Detoxed every 80-100 games. This will keep the pores of the coverstock clean and bring back some of that original ball reaction
Why did the burner come after the afterburner?
Your guess is as good as ours 😂
Hustle rap or rhino. Just depends on if I want to keep swinging or play straighter lol.
Which one do you use for straighter?
@@MrKram1337 the Rhino. I have it drilled for minimal hook
So you moved a total of 25 boards left? 🤔
I throw the pearl and love jt
Pitch purple kills when the lanes are burned up
