Very nice video
My granparents ❤️ the coolest people I know. I never stop showing them off
Good on ya!
Tell your grandparents I would love to be the grandson
Pass a lot of S.P. trucks when hauling jet engines out of AZ. Took 20 years to get direct customer so I guarantee on time delivery. Very grateful 19+ years.
A very dear friend was leased onto Southern Pride, he loved it there. He carried his Harley everywhere, sadly he died on that Harley awhile back. RIP Mike
Chris so good to see out on that blacktop doing these videos again. You are definitely the right person for what you do. We appreciate you and all the good insight you bring to trucking and the industry as a whole. I wish I would have gotten into trucking years ago, so I live a dream through your videos. Thanks for always delivering the best content to us.
The intro in beginning of the video gave me goosebumps! Nicely done 👌
I live in Northern NY. Those Southern Pride trucks used to park at the Peterbilt dealership and a local company would pull their wagons north of the border because their wheel base wasn't legal to run in Quebec. Love their rigs!
I am a retired airline mechanic from American Airlines. Tulsa Oklahoma has AA biggest maint. base. I used to see these trucks in there all the time bringing engines and flight controls, they are impressive. Excellent video.
This looks like its gonna be another great looking truck and interview.
Larry and Sarah are a awesome couple. Love it when they are in Shipshewana Indiana at ARI Sometimes I get to see 1:20 them
I work in the engine shipping dept. at a major airline. Always nice to see the sharp Pride & Aviation Ex rigs when they come through for loads I recognized the duck on this beauty 😝😎
Well done. I thank you for producing this one. Lightning Strikes, Thunder Rolls! Let’s keep on trucking!
Thank You Brother Chris Hope all is well and you enjoy a blessed weekend .

@@BigRigVideos thanks man we back rolling! Was not quick but better than not at all! Great work on the videos...keep em comin and we keep watchin!
Love that 15k high paying load!❤️ another great interview Chris.
Can’t wait for another cb interview
Love your videos could u do some videos on the older rigs that are still out there is love to hear how they got there rigs and what they've done to them
Great Large Car video!! Keep them coming. Kc
Great 👍 looking truck.
Nice 👍 thanks for doing what you do
Very beautiful setup. I know that everything cost money. Sure would be nice, if they would spend some on getting that large unit polished (wheels, steps, battery boxes storage boxes, Sun visor, breathers, etc) up. Even if they’re not planning on showing it at a TS. Wildwood would be a great place for that.
Great interview. Nice truck.
Incrível muito top, show!!!. Sonho de consumo de brasileiro.
Man, I was hoping to hear a little more about Southern Pride. Great job Chris. WLBS
Yeah, KRIS nice 👌 👍 one 👌 👍 👏 THANKS AGAIN great interview 👍 👏 👌 ms,Hendrick. O.G.CALIFORNIA DIRT HAULER OUT 10-4
Southern pride trucking pays drivers a lot to ship jet parts
Better off paying up front than later on with damaged parts!
Must be nice have a great pay, but your pretty much on the road 24/7, a person just hopes to not get burned out from all the driving.
boing does
Awesome driver and truck and video as well
Love how this looks and the load you guys Carry hey bro Chris you need hurry up and come to Jamaica and meet our truckers yea big up y'all
Beautiful rig, nice color scheme. I would have thought they would use curtain siders to haul those jet engines etc and would be much better for art work and medical equipment etc too. Would protect the loads from the elements much better than the tarps. Actually I never really see many curtain siders used in the usa....
Another great video keep up the good work. If you get a chance look for out cast on the back of the sleep or heavy hall nation he drives a Pete.
I love the ones that say “these are just show trucks, you can’t make money with these”
Small minded low level drivers that have zero knowledge on how to run a business, and stuck being a company driver!
Beautiful Tractor/Trailer. I can only imagine it glides pretty smoothly across most highways. Thanks for sharing Larry and Sarah. Thanks for the video coverage. I enjoy it as always! Keep up the good work!
Awsome!
13:50 she gives Columbus, OH some love! 💪
Always those with these insane sleeper cabs that haul flight parts
Your the Best! Michigan 🇺🇸🤗
Os caminhões mais bonitos do MUNDO. Um abraço Brasil

Caminhões maravilhosos e lindos.

Southern Pride has some sweet rides in their fleet.
Bro. How many miles you got on your car now. You’ve had it for ever it seems like
I’m guessing 300k
Its part of his image now
i love the truck.
Saludos cris.desde.veracruz México
Passed these guys on Monday.
Where?
Seen a set up like this one wearing Neptune Van Line colors years ago. The driver/owner at the time couldn't have been over thirty five.
What a refreshing surprise to find this channel.
Just found it. THIS is a slick setup for interviews.
Welcome!
@@mctrun Welcome!
@@cfiffie Thank you. God bless.
Chris, are you always at the chrome shop? I live here in florida by daytona and have yet to pass by the 75 chrome stop. Ive been meaning to have a reason to drive the rig over there and check it out. Id love to meet you and check out your setup. Love the videos!
There's a truck show there the weekend of April 23-25
@@JakeLunceford Perfect! Now i have an excuse! Thank you sir 👍
Luxury trucking!
Out of curiosity, has anyone built a sleeper out of a b-double by converting the front part first short trailer into an oversized sleeper ? Would definitely be more manoeuvrable with two pivot points.
Large Unit 👍👍
Curious to know what has happened to the sounds of the truck rolling down the road in these interviews. New style, trying something different? Great Vid as always my man, stay safe and God Bless🙏
Some of the trucks are not as loud as some of the previously filmed show trucks. BUT I did make some changes to the external microphone. I am in the process of fine tuning the external sound.
10-4
To put it into perspective, that sleeper is as long as my day cabs wheelbase
Excellent video as always Chris! Hey, can you do me a favor and let Heath Church know to reach out to Bryan at 4 State Trucks regarding a video on his Pete? Seriously, Bryan would like to feature Heaths 2004 Pete! 😎
I’d like to know how driving for Southern Pride is? I understand they are mostly teams, driving for 6-8 weeks at time. Pays well, I guess.
From what I heard, you can run solo with Southern Pride, not claiming it’s true, just what I’ve heard, and if I ever wanted to return to OTR, I’d definitely call them
someone was just in my shop here said their neighbor drives for that company... i’m south of SRQ
Good Evening Sara And Larry Hope all is well and I love the truck and I wanted to ask you who you driver for if you don't mind telling me I'm wanting to get a CDL I love traveling . Thank You
Is this like a southern pride trucking thing? I think they are all o/o but like they all have the big sleepers on them or atleast all the ones I’ve seen
The great debate....
1. Custom built mega sleeper
2. Coffin bunk
Coffin bunk by far, but that is a sweet ride!!
Price tag on one of this wonderful machines?
Sothern pride with the jet motor.
cool
That blue kenworth with the sweet light is bad as hell
That was cool you tube algorithm got one right
would it be funny if their son's name is Jimmy? you know the guy called, Jimmy Hendrix!
410 inch WB!!!!! No fun in the NE cities!!
Pretty cool. I wonder where they fill the tanks for the shower and toilet.
Meny truck stops have water and toilet dumps or state ran rest stops. I have a real toilet on my truck and I dump it at rest stops. I only have an 86’ sleeper. You make room for comfort. If it’s important to you, you’ll find a way to make it work. Having a truck like this makes me think of living in truck and selling my house but the fright gotta support the cost of this rig. Keep in mind, some of these rigs are 500k and plus. Definitely not suitable for a rookie driver.
@@ABC-oo4vm thanks that all makes sense, how many gallons of water do you think a set up like Hendrix's would hold?
I dislike that I’m suggesting “just google it”! (personal annoyance) but api sleeper in Indiana. It’s all very subjective in terms of tanks size capacities. My best answer, this truck is basically a motor home. These type of truck have dishwasher- clothes washer and dryer and a real shower.
My dads knows a lot of southern pride drivers and the owner
