Sometimes they edit the pitch of the original singer to make it sound like it was sung by the opposite gender. It's usually pretty obvious in "male versions" because the voice sounds distorted and too deep but you can't really tell with the female versions because night core is always high pitched which covers up the fact that they just took the original vocals and made them high pitched to make it sound female. Though I don't think they did that with this one.
