Bringing in Sara will be tricky, especially for the Angie and Will fans. But I can see it work if the actor they bring in to play Sara has great chemistry with Will. As a fan of the books, I hope they do her character right so the fans can love her as I do.

I never liked Angie in the books and the way the show portrays her is one reason I quit watching.

​​@@mimiwhite1963Same. I loved the books too, because of this relationship between Will, Sara and Angie. Angie the toxic snake and Sara the one who grounded Will everytime he met Angie again. This was a dynamic which pushed the private live of them, but in the series this is very boring...😒

This is way they should have portrayed Angie correctly in the show … everyone who has read the books knows Angie is a hated character and Sara is the women who truly loves him and he has grown so much as a character with Sara

Sara is amazing character in karen slaughter books and i hope they introduce her in the will trent series

I read all 11 books so I’m just not understanding why they polarized Angie as a lovable character in the show to the point THAT now they don’t know how to introduce the lead woman Sara ?? WTH it’s all about Sara and Will books 3-12 !! They even made Angie look like Sara ?? Sara is a redhead with a slim build , I don’t get it

I really hare that the TV show has made the character of Angie so like-able. She is despicable in the books and I hated her anywhere near Will. But Will and Sara are the story and so should it be in the TV show. I just want them to find the right Sara

They even made Angie look like Sara in the tv show !!! Seriously, WTH 🤦🏽‍♀️ it’s a huge part of the books that Sara is a tall redhead and Angie is a curvy toxic snake that uses Will and guilts him with their past. I like the show but let be honest this TV show is very loosely based on the books which sucks for the readers

The TV show without Sarah is just not Will Trent. Karen Slaughter wrote the books with the intent of them being together. Her words in the intro to her books on audible. Angie on the show is a totally different person and Will is very different as well.
I personally do not like it when the show diverts so far from the source material the characters are not recognizable. I quit watching after 4 episodes. It was like Tom Cruise trying to be Jack Reacher just not believable.
