FAQ: "why sunflowers?"
A: This video was made years ago for a friend requesting a photo-slide video with sunflowers on it, hence it's full of sunflowers instead of the rain.
p/s: I do agree to some of the comments on this video - the melody can be poignant and melancholic, beckoning you to reminisce some of the events in your life... And, the same beautiful melody brings you back to the present time, taking with you the best memories of the said event/loved ones.

yiruma's music is not complicated and very grandoise but the simplicity and gentleness his music offers is enough to make me think that he is at par :))
This song brings memories of a road trip I made on Ca-1 from San Diego all the way to San Francisco in 2008. The views were stunning and Yiruma just made the trip so much better.
My best friend just died yesterday. He told me that I was his insperation for music. Him and I would sit together and listen to this song. He said he would play it for me someday. I guess he was too late... So I came back to this song and I'm imagining that he's sitting infront of me playing this beautiful song smiling. I know it's just making me cry and miss him more, but it's worth it. Rest in peace Mason. I love you!

i love this kind of songs because you can imagine your own feeling. you can just close your eyes and you see a story. at songs with lyrics the feeling is already written down for you. also nice but this is just making my head empty. and every time you listen the song you hear another part of the story, and at the end the story is complete. and that's what i like.

Then closing night came, and I thought I would never have adventures with them again. But it never was truly goodbye, because I still have gone on new adventures with them, some even better. I love the sunflowers, it all hit me when I was reading the description, when you said about other videos with images of rain and rainy days, this completely changed this song for me; it's no longer something I go to on a rainy day, physically or metaphorically, it has opened my eyes to the possibilities of life in it's greatest; and simplest form. I hope you can all see what I did :)

I know this isn't Rue's lullaby, and I don't even really like the hunger games anymore because that's all anyone ever talks about it and after awhile it just gets dull, but yet I still hear the lyrics playing in my head everytime I listen to this song.
