I'll be honest, when that DM first came in, I was unsure how this would work out (and a little concerned).
However, once you had the challenges laid out & we got out on track, it was a great laugh.
I've not been representing the F1 car too well so far.
Thanks for having me again, Jimmy & I hope everyone enjoyed that finish!

That was awesome, I'd love to see the Supra with about half that power though, maybe traction control cutting it back until 5th gear. Jimmy blew through the tires every time he looked at the throttle. He'd have actually been faster on most tracks with half or a third of that power.

I've done that years ago. A 2004 F1 Ferrari from AC was faster than La Ferrari on the Nurburgring with about 350hp.
It's not that hard to ball park, but it's a surprisingly low amount of power...
On a road course, two years ago, you could have expected a well set-up Formula 4 to be faster than NASCAR Cup and a bit faster than European GT4. If Nascar CUP does a lap in 100 seconds, you would expect an F4 to be anywhere from 97.01 seconds to 100 seconds (except for US's F4) and a GT4 to do it in 104.
Now, GT4 have some modifications that allow them to go a little faster on a road course than a street production variant, but F1 are a little heavier.
So I'll go in the 100 to 200 hp. There around. Nothing precise.

That last race was full-on a horror movie, Nate silently creeping up, utterly implacable.

Its special defense is to swerve all over the track so that everyone behind doesn't dare overtake it for fear of their life.

Could u make this test with older F1 cars? Like the legendary V10 ones or the 1200hp F1 car from Senna? Would be interesting. Test quarter mile and half mile.
And also try other cars for comparison. like Mclaren F1, Bugatti Veyron/Chiron, Koeniggsegg, Pagani etc.
All of the cars that you mentioned aren't even decent on drag strip, they're mostly built for a proper true racing on track or record breaking top speed

There's this mod called Assetto Corsa Evoluzione and it's basically a Gran Turismo inspired career for assetto, you should check it out!

A supra with the power of a collapsing star that starts sucking hard in 4th around 250KPH is something i can wholeheartedly endorse

So many people who have actual 2000hp supras and things like that, some of them must have done hotlaps to see what the times are like.
This would be better if you could use boost by gear to try and actually control that monster

ok but here me out.... one FULL lap of tokyo on SRP, including the long run down to yokohama, not just the c1.
EDIT: update: i did it. i ran the '21 RSS f1 car in just under 16 minutes with one crash. then for the supra, i dont have whatever jimmy used, so i took the arch physics time attack supra and upped it to 5 bar of boost to bring it over 2000hp (and lengthened the gears to bring it to top out around 250) and ran it in 17:45 with two crashes. i think the supra might need 3 or 4000hp to beat it. it was fun though!

Well, as it turned out this weekend, the Ferrari F1 car seems to be producing 0hp
That supra looked headless struggling to keep its power in check.

Last race is absolutely amazing final just incredible, body kit supra perfect,supra will be one of the most historical sport racing car forever,now age for cars finish,age of cars with engine with inside burning near finish unfortunately but iconic cars like supra,gtr32,33,34 will be forever in our hearts and soul

if you build a car with 2000 hp, you need the cooling etc to make that work, which will add drag and weight. Don't forget the weight added by the performance parts. If you want to improve the handling, too, and add slicks, you need to rework the suspension and stiffness of the chassis again adding weight. In a computer world, you can just add the hp, without the weight penalty. But you can add the downforce, too, which just coding in some numbers, or the grip, and even make the weight less. So what is the point of coding in some hp, but not coding in more grip or more downforce etc?
