  • The Springboks scored five tries to open their 2024 Rugby Championship campaign with a resounding 33-7 victory against Australia at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday, 10 August 2024.
The World Champions were brutal in the first half and led 21-0 at the break courtesy of tries by skipper, Siya Kolisi, Pieter-Steph du Toit, and Kurt-Lee Arendse.
They added 14 more points in the second half when Arendse went over for his second, while Kwagga Smith also got his name on the scoreboard.
In his first start for South Africa, prodigy flyhalf, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu was impressive with his attack play, and with the boot converted four conversions, missing one penalty earlier in the match.
The Boks will return to action next week against the Aussies in Perth.
