GREAT content!!! Really Amazing overall!!!! One thing, did expected YOU to be doing the work, maybe a thumbnail showing it and a different title would give you more views, because the content is really well done
Did you have to cut the pipes to get them off without dropping the transmission? From my understanding if you don’t drop the transmission you have to cut them but you are able to install new downpipes without dropping the transmission
You skipped a lot of the steps, this job is not easy, and you have to cut the stock cats to get it out or else you have to drop the transmission. I notice in your video you put in the passenger side downpipe first, the driver's side gotta go in first.
@@furbprep1118Hi mate, this may seem like a relatively random question lol, But after installing the downpipes then driving have you noticed a slight difference in the shifts from 3rd to 4th gear?
@@hussblacksmith5417 hey mate. Sorry no I didn’t notice any major difference. However all 3 vehicles I have installed them on did get tuned a day after install.
No one buys an C63 (in particular Edition 1) to get good gas mileage. It will improve it by doing these mods but not likely to by any means offset any costs involved on any scale that will make a noticeable change to running costs.
@@tsi767 from my experience, you’re doing well if you can get mid-low 30’s MPG (Uk) whilst being light on the throttle/on the motorway. Driven aggressively, you’re going to see fuel economy in the teens. This is based on a C63s coupe - no idea how much difference an Edition 1 would make
You would see a small power difference without the tune. However these really need a tune to ensure that they don't throw a check engine light as soon as they are driven hard. Not sure on exact numbers now that it has been tuned.

Wow sounds so good 👍

Yes Thank God I will buy one for myself

Any need for heat shielding or ceramic coating on the new downpipes?
did you drop the gearbox or cut the cats to get them out?
Just neatly cut in front of the secondary so they slide out without removing the trans.
could have said that you need to cut, dismanteled everything and put everything back together…
insane how my i have the same car and my car has the same little chip on the yellow
did you get a check engine light
Thanks for putting this together
What was the brand of down pipes?
My man are you based in Sydney I'll be more then comfortable and happy with you installing my downpipes and I'll pay you well for the labour !
Sorry mate. Based in SA.

what was the total time it took to install them?
Do these downpipes have Cats or are they Cat less
What downpipes?
What brand are the downpipes?
how many hours does it take!?
i heard that to remove downpipes you would either have to cut them in half or drop the trans. seeing your video makes me believe that is untrue.
Not sounding loud
Mate, how about catalytic converter you change or install?
They are catless so there not welded into that system they are from ANTZ performance MELBOURNE but are bought direct through ZAC Motorsport QLD
No before/after comparsion? what an amateur
Mate what diffuser is that?
Its all standard Edition one bodykit as far as I know.
Facelift diffuser
millage on this car? when driving normal and aggressively

What’s the before n after power difference before tuning ? Or will you only see a difference w a tune?

@@furbprep1118 yeah fair enough. It seems most new cars need a tune before results are seen/check engine lights lol
Did you remove the stock downpipes without cutting them and without removing the transmission?
The transmission stayed in. The downpipes were carefully cut so they could be re installed if required.
who did the tune? and did you notice a massive difference with downpipe/tune?
