Oh this is fun. I like this! Be fun to show more videos like this. Interactive so we can see it in action, more so if we have a vision in our head that's similar to a site you do, but just need a little help/inspiration on carrying it out. More for those of us who can't afford someone to do it for us, a certain theme, etc.
I've just found this channel. It's a gold mine! I want to build a website for my art, but have been putting it off because I didn't know where to start. Thanks Jamie!
I have a question for you Jamie. The New York Times has a nice vertical line between the two content columns - how can we do that in page builder? Is that just a setting of the column block?
You would need a little CSS to get the vertical line between columns - if you don't know CSS then ChatGPT is really good at writing it for you :) If you would like a tutorial on this let me know.
I'm stymied. I have Premium. I follow your instructions but am stuck at Templates. I don't get a down arrow to lead to the choices you have to Add New. I get All Templates and Twenty Twrnty-Four only, in the sidebar.
Never mind! I see they've changed things. My machine is slow. This is so great! This video finally pointed me in the way to get the template I want. Thanks!
I've discovered that not everything works with the latest Firefox and Win 8.1. I don't see a Save button for the template. I tried a modern machine with Fox and the three-dot menu buttons don't work. On the modern computer, everything works in Chrome. If others are experiencing problems, they need to know this.
It’s definitely powerful. But for me, I found it very unintuitive. I miss the old days where you just had a few options you could change. Obviously this is better for people and organisations who need that flexibility. But for individuals just wanting to have a basic website or blog, it’s quite overwhelming compared to other platforms. I’m pretty experienced with this kind of thing, but it felt too much for me. If WP could offer a simplified customisation tool as well, that’d be ideal.
Perfectly! But clearly 30 minutes of time is not enough to reveal the topic.. Then there are more complex and interesting blocks, the creation of which would be even more interesting to look at. Think about increasing the limited time frame from 30 minutes at least by two and your devoted fans will watch your video tutorials with even more gusto.
I really enjoy your tutorials but I have a question; who are your tutorials targeted to? Because, you skip a very important part. After you added the logo, the date in the first column (which is 2 rows) jumps in from nowhere and you don't even explain how you got into 2 rows. I personally would add inside Rows (div) but most noobs would be lost at how you achieved that.
@@jamiewp Yes. But most people would have been dumbfounded noobs on how to do that without an explanation considering it may not be responsive if not implemented correctly.
Great video. Very clear and enlightening.

Just shows how quick WordPress is catching up with page builders. Great video!

Awesome, thank you!

thank you 🙏
Great great video, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
the video is really nice and understandable, but some parts were cut, for example, how did you make the date part that appears at 4:03?
great video. amazing.
Glad you liked it!
❤ Great as always, Very helpful thank you so much Jamie
Thank you 👍
Elsewhere you recommend creating the content in a page rather than the site editor, or have I understood that wrongly?
Did the mega menu make 6.5? If not, please could you share the plugin used?
Looks like it didn't
which plugin in you used sir

A pretty simple workaround would be to place a border on the left side of the right column, or the right side of the left column. That worked for me.
where can i find the full 30 min of this video ?
This is the full video :)

Hi, i added it into a column and used a soft return so it was on two lines - does that make sense?

we still don't know how you did the date. I'm the third person I see asking, please share how you did that@@jamiewp
