- In today's video we are at Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA. It's a free to get in and free to park amusement park. You pay per ride and for food. We ride a lot of ride and eat some great food. Kim gets the brass ring on the famous carousel!!

I love the Pioneer train. The best part is waving at the other train like they're long-lost friends and not just the people who were in the line behind you.

Best way I’ve found for pierogis… boil or steam until tender and hot. Then, drain toss directly into a hot skillet with butter and sautéd onion until brown and slightly crips o the surface! Serve with sour cream!! Perfection! 😁

This brings back so many memories, as I went there as a child with my whole family. My Grandparents lived in Mahanoy City, PA, and we lived in Reading, PA. I got teary eyed watching the last video, as everyone in my family at that time has passed away. I don’t mean to be a Debbie Downer, but it also made me smile as well. I love watching your videos! I used to come to this park for years-I swear I went with all my cousins as we grew. My favorite ride is the Italian trapeze (the swings). Which sadly went down for abit..I thought it never was coming back. But a recent trip this year I discovered it was running again!. You bet I dragged my cousins on before we left XD

Try the loaded pierogis at the round table by the haunted mansion they are amazing and come with bacon cheese and sour cream. The tri taters are good too at that same stand. Definitely one of my favorites in the park

I’ve probably been there 3, or 4 times over my childhood years in the 70’s (I much, much older ha,ha). I always loved the potato pancakes because my Grandmother and Mother always made them during the holidays.

Have you been to Kennywood Park near Pittsburgh, PA? If not, you have to visit! It’s a classic amusement park similar to Knobel’s.

The first dark ride did remind me of blazing furry at Dollywood. What rides at Dollywood are must rides that are big girl and kid friendly? The potato cakes look yummy.
