80s and 90s have some of the best toys, especially Barbies! Today I am back at Davey's Toys in Longwood FL. He has taken in a huge vintage Barbie collection.

90s/early 00s are my favorite eras of Barbies. They are so pretty and much better quality than the Barbies nowadays. Had a huge smile on my face while watching this video because I remember playing with some of the dolls when I was little, like the Barbie/baby Krissy set, Beyond Pink Barbie, Cool Shoppin’ Barbie, Hula Hair, Flower Fun, Jewel Hair Mermaid, the Christie version. Total nostalgia. 😊.

These prices are such a dream, here in Germany you would pay so much for them 🥺🥺
Here in Ireland, you can only get these type of barbie from ebay and same as Germany costs a fortune .
Plus, here in Germany you dont even have stores like this one...

Hello from South Africa - Back then I made a point of ordering the AA versions. World of Beauty Jamal with his moustache and West Coast baggy suit is cool. My Jewel Hair is still in the box - fabulous and rare. Hard to find now. Best of luck searching. Enjoy your collection.

Oh my gosh the jewel hair mermaid teresa!!! I keep looking for a good deal on her, want her so bad. Seeing so many barbies I used to have ahhhh so nostalgic. Love it!!!

this was a TRIP down memory lane for me-
i owned like 2 barbies being a young boy- it wasnt rlly something youd buy boys in the 90s
I had Hula Hair barbie and a Barbie Style
id go to my friends house and she legit had hundredddds of barbies (and She-Rah action figures!)
She had her own dolls AND her sisters from the 80s- sooo many of these outfits are in the back of my head and have somehow even shaped me in a way.
Cant believe how reasonable the prices are at this shop- i wish i was in America

Definitely agree with you. The late 90s till 2002 were the best barbies. The generation girl barbie sculpt was the best. The kind eyes and open mouth smile and i think the funnest fashion oitfits all high quality was what made the dolls of this time period epic. Once 2004 rolled in barbies eyes changed and her lips closed and it looked like she was posing for a camera 24 7 and didnt have that happy kind expression she came with in the late 90s sculpt. That sculpt will ofcourse be my favorite.
I always loved the working Barbies with the cell phone, i mean look at that CD-ROM, doesn't it scream professional?she made working at an office seem so glamorous 😅 i also loved the cassette I got instead of Barbie Benetton, i wanted that doll so much. So i would get the one with the cassette. Davey's toys seems like a dream come true for us 80's kids 💗

I had the walking barbie and baby krissy. I also had the crib version too. I loved playing with Barbie like krissy was her and ken's baby.

I had cool shoppin barbie, she was one of my favorites I also had dentist barbie, fun treats barbie and kelly, songbird barbie and movin grovin barbie I got cool blue barbie, beyond pink cutting style and sweetheart barbies from a garage sale when I was a kid. I wanted hula hair barbie but I never got one

2000s Barbie is my favorite! She reminds me of a young Britney Spears & I don’t know but I prefer the facial features and more elegant aesthetics from that time over the early 90s dolls 😄

I had a Stacey when I was younger and I couldn't remember what theme she came with. It was the Polly Pocket one! As soon as you showed her I remembered the little pink backpack and the plaid skirt.
I had a Tommy too. I wanted him so bad and I was so disappointed when I opened the box. His bowl cut was stiff with glue and completely bald underneath.
I’m pretty sure I spotted that angel one out of box in a bag on a savers wall the other week. I didn’t end up getting her, but I wondered at the time which doll that was so it was fun to see her full original look in box here!

I collect late 80's and all 90's barbie dolls but I can't resist and I take them out of the box because they're so beautiful and I want to touch those beautiful well made gowns I enjoy so much I know one day we will go to heaven and so I don't want to just leave all my dolls in their boxes I cannot believe how today the barbie dolls are made of such cheap material and the clothing is so cheap ugly and sometimes painted on I just hate it however I love the extra doll collection but not all of them and I also like the 80's rewind collection all your dolls are beautiful ❤️
About what you said at 4:43, I feel the need to add sometthing, because it's not really accurate. You said "when they started doing this face mold, I kinda lost interest..preferred the 90's face mold". Actually, the Bob Mackie face mold appeared in 1991 and it went almost side by side with the Superstar mold, up until 1998 when Barbie got the Generation Girl (ceo) face mold. The mackie mold is seen in many dolls of the 90's, but most of them are collector's edition. Rarely you will see Mackie on a playline doll (at least not half as much as the Superstar face mold of that era). So I think you are a bit mistaken 😁 Also, the Mackie face mold is my personal favourite so I felt the need to add this in her defense lol. But of course, everyone is different and I respect the fact that you're not much into it, but she is the face of more than 400(!) collector dolls from the 90s.

The Barbie and Krissy and the jewel hair Teresa are on my wish list and so hard to find! I paid $70 for the gold mermaid jewel hair!

I don't remember if I told you this but I had the Barbie and Baby Krissy set I got it for Christmas one year from one of my relatives in 1999 when I was 5.

10:36 I have this Barbie She was already out of box when she came with her original box and I fixed her hair a few months ago cause you know how the rubber bands that were originally in there hair turn yellow and fall apart and get stuck in the hair,Also she has her original outfit and Reebox shoes.

Girls that were born in the 90s still appreciated the 00s faces please dont insult them..its what i had as a child the few 80s or 90s ones i did acquire i loved very much too. They made the bodies more realistic in the 00s she had hips ans a belly button. Now they make them curvy too

Barbie and her little “sisters”, always confused me as a child because we never saw their parents.
Mattel way some time back put out Barbies passenger train which looked like a Winnebago home. They sold a separate barbie either as a train conductor or a stewart.
Barbie's technical quality peaked in the 90's.

Do you have information on a Miss Seventeen doll. My doll is about 16 inches long. It is still in the box..never removed. I have a broken #1 barbie doll--any idea of where to get a repair-broken neck knob.

Crystal and Pretty in pink barbies from the 80's
I do have handful of 90s Barbies. I have the mermaid Barbie who blows bubbles out of a crown on top of her head when you squeeze her tail, and the webcam Barbie with a webcam in her chest are my standout unusual ones. I never actually used it though, I had a Sony floppy disk digital camera that also took some video and was much easier then how you would have to connect the doll to a PC then. Also have 1999 Rosie O'Donnel by Barbie.
Barbie got much better looking IMO in the 90s, that's when I was finding & buying more I liked and Stardolls came out & others to compete with Bratz.

Vintage barbies are very beautiful and very high quality. Superstar mold are very iconic. Idk what happen to her now, I just can't appreciate millie. Millie is not that bad but very boring and the fashiona are not detailed compared before
