I still have 2 Great Aunts living from this generation. Both are well into their 90s and in amazing health, and this music still plays in their homes. Amazing to hear their stories and see photographs from a time I could only imagine living in. I'm so blessed to have these memories. IMO, they certainly are from the greatest generation.

I listened to this playlist for my late mother who would have loved this old past musical charm of endless beauty. My late father was a French teacher and he was more into catching up with American news on daily basis.

All the crap music these days , it’s refreshing to come back to music that doesn’t sing about killing someone, social unrest or promiscuity. - Pappy

@badsiknius4862 First, the oldest Boomers were todlers when this music came out, so learn your generations. Second, he's referencing how much better the music was back then, not how much better society was back then. Learn to read.

@@Oldman525 It's all AI generated. It's not copyrighted as of this moment by the law - you must've heard of the artificial intelligence creating any art you can describe - the talent lies only in a correct way of describing it. anyone can make paintings of such quality with DALL -E 3 or other numerous art engines - for example, if you use the Microsoft Edge internet browser, you can generate beautiful images in the right hand corner thanks to the Copilot Designer function. It can be both easy and breathtaking.

These songs aren't from the 1940s at all, they are from the 1930s. It should be called a 1930s playlist.
