Virtual Humans -- Lecture 03.2 Procrustes Alignment

Learning a statistical human model such as SMPL requires aligning 3D scans of people. The most basic form of alignment is rigid alignment, or rigid alignment up to scale. Given correspondences, this can be solved in closed form with Procrustes alignment.
