I fully agree with your observation. This is probably partly due to how they were trained by their choreographers during their trainee days and prevailing dance style during that time. A clear example of the difference between two K-pop generations. Synchronized, but different dance 'attack.'

But they have wanted to work with jimin for 2yrs and now finally they met at a party and taeyang got chance to ask jimin and he immediately said yes. Taeyang himself said this in an interview.
The way Taeyang dances always stands out in a group. The fact that Jimin and Taeyang are dancing next to each other and they match each other's energy so perfectly just means this is a collab heaven made happen xD
