If you have any events you receive gifts for coming up it could be a good thing to ask for! But yeah I think trying to chase a cheaper option when you know you want something often leads to more money being spent.

I am an oily girl, like you, and have foundation preferences that are similar to yours (light/natural - radiant coverage, blurring, texture, able to withstand some powdering). I have been on the fence/struggling with finding a skin tint that could work for me. It sounds like this one could work! I am looking forward to the video you mentioned you are working on, because I have wanted to pull the trigger on the Surratt Dew Drop as my next complexion purchase, without adding to the foundation graveyard I have in my makeup drawer of purchases that didn't work out for me.

I thought about that! It’s possible but my experience with salicylic acid has been it hasn’t had lasting mattefying effects, but I’m no cosmetic chemist lol
The tint is so great that I'll be tossing my others! Based upon my love for the tint, I'll be getting a foundation. I would like to know what you think of that vs.Surratt, Prada, etc.I like her lipsticks, pencils, liquid lurex eyeshadows (Viola!) and Velveteen lip stuff (although Addiction Tokyo formula is a little nicer than the Velveteen). LE's cleanser (expensive) and mist are so nice, I've already reordered each a few times. I'm VERY interested in what you have to say about the mist and its various uses, so I do hope that you'll include that in your brand review. It really is unlike other mists/setting sprays that I've tried, and it works well before and after the tint. Don't skip the washcloths either - effective and so plush. I want to get the eyeshadow toppers as singles but they're always out of stock when I check.

I certainly don't NEED it, but I'd sure like to try some since it wears so well on you. Does it perform okay over sunscreen? I presume it does. (The Kinship sunscreen I use turns my face kinda greasy over the day, but it's my favorite.)

So I’m on an eyeshadow no buy right now so I probably won’t be buying it. I think it’s so gorgeous and it’s the first eyeshadow release this year that I’m actually interested in! So I don’t think I’ll get it unless for some reason Byredo sends me PR or someone buys it as a gift for me, which means I won’t ever try it because I can’t buy eyeshadows until next year!

It’s so good. I’ve been trying to figure out what it’s reminding me of … something I haven’t used in a really long time. I actually keep going back in my mind to the Sunday Riley tinted primer that got discontinued like nearly a decade ago? It was weirdly effective as a complexion product if you were lucky enough to be close to one of the like 2-3 shades they offered 🙄

It has worn well over sunscreen! I use the unseen sunscreen from supergoop for reference!
