- What you've been waiting for, it's here.
You can now integrate Google Calendar in "Settings - Integrations & Import" to sync tasks with Google events. Once integrated, you'll see TickTick tasks in Google Calendar, and any changes made will sync back to TickTick, enabling two-way synchronization.

Sadly, tasks that you have already checked are not being removed from google calendar events :( I hope this can be fixed soon.
Still feels like it misses the mark. I have to choose between having all my google calendars synced to tick tick and all my tick tasks going out to the calendar? Doesn’t feel 2 way to me. I can only integrate one calendar under a google account with multiple calendars. And in the subscription mode I can only send tasks out to one calendar and only if I cram all my tasks in the subscription calendar section that gets added. Doesn’t feel very functional. No tasks added to the tick tick calendar will get added to my calendar and I can’t even send them to the list. I have to make them directly in it. Neither of these options allows a user to manage all their tasks segmented from multiple lists and multiple google calendars. The easy fix here would be allowing multiple integrations with the same google account so I can make a separate integration for each of my lists/calendars.
Do you mean that you hope to integrate multiple lists and calendars at once, matching them one by one?
@@GetTickTickyes that would be great
@@pjsilvastudio Ah, I see. Although you can only integrate one calendar at a time, you can return to the 'Integrated Account Details' page and click 'Add Integration' multiple times to integrate up to 5 calendars in total. Simply click on your profile picture, go to 'Settings' > 'Integrations & Import,' find the Google Calendar account you've already integrated, hover over it, click 'Edit,' and then click 'Add Integration' to add a new link. I hope this resolves your issue.
@@GetTickTick hi unfortunately I tried this and it would give me an error saying the account was already linked. I am not able to get further in to the process where I would like to link a different calendar to a different list under the same Google account.
@@pjsilvastudio No, no, no, not that. Your error message should be due to the fact that you clicked on ‘Add Calendar’ instead of ‘Add Integration’ in the ‘Integrated Account Details’ page. You can check out the ‘Integration with Google Calendar’ section of this article, and the second question in the ‘FAQs’ at the end of ‘Integration with Google Calendar’ will give you a picture guide. 👉 help.ticktick.com/articles/7055781593733922816
This works great, thank you. The only problem I have is that tasks have the setting "busy" in my calender - this is fine if I want to block a special time for a task but not for the whole day. I can't find any settings. In my main calender all-day appointments are set to available. Is it a setting within ticktick?
I'm not seeing this on Windowd desktop, nor in the web version, nor android version. I have subscribed calendars, but no integrations. My app is over 5.5.01 and I deleted my Desktop app today and reinstalled it just to be sure. Is this only available to certain accounts? I am a premium user. Will support for just sharing a filter be available in the future?
Can you please add an option to only share a filter? I want to only share my todos with high priority
Pretty please!
Thank you! It works perfectly!
One more update would be awesome:
I would really appreciate it if the notification on my phone (iOS) could indicate that a certain event it’s reminding me of is not today. For example, if there is an urgent event on Tuesday and it is currently Monday, it always just says “urgent.” But it is urgent tomorrow, not today. It would be really helpful if this information were visible directly on the lock screen.
What I miss is Google tasks integration
Never stopped to provide what users need.
This is awesome!
Whatever happens with those of us who already linked, does it upgrade to new behavior or keep using the old sync way?
Rest assured, your previous syncs will not be affected.
@@GetTickTick well that means I need to create a new one right )
Can you please remove the "copied" text that gets added when you copy an event on the calendar? It wastes so much time deleting the "copied" text.
Got your suggestion! I've passed it on to the product manager.
Has anyone figured out a (better) work around for syncing specific tasks (those comfortable to share with Gcal) without needing to move said tasks to a specific list?
Maybe if we could sync specific filters?
The app excels in functionality, offering all the features users want in a to-do app. However, its user interface falls short compared to other apps, lacking the visual appeal that complements its robust capabilities.
I love its simplicity in UI and rich in features.
Its Calendar view is one of the best, that gets newly tasks get updated in calendar instantly.
TT's widgets of Calendar are so useful to see the day's plan & week ahead so quickly.
What apps are you comparing it to ? Todoist ? That has no decent calendar view on android or ios. Widgets are Todoist are so bad.
@@raviss98 I recommend you to read my comment one more time. My only comapin is UI.
I didn't say any thing other than the UI
@@cemkaya4448 Read my comment, I asked you with which apps UI you compared it to ? I asked this coz in your original comment you said "user interface falls short compared to other apps" . That's what I simply asked.
@@raviss98 Isee. I like the Todoist's UI
I don't have an Integrations menu on my Windows 5.5.1.0 version. I do in the web version but it looks nothing like that.
Sorry, the path on Windows might be slightly different. You need to click on the avatar, go to "Settings," select "Calendar Subscription," and then choose "Google."
@@GetTickTick Thanks. I had already subscribed to the Google Calendar and synched tasks back to the calendar. This had been in place for more than a year. I'm not sure what is new in this version.
@@mzantsi Same here. The old method still shows on the web version.
